Remmy is still missing 😢

🚨 REMMY IS STILL MISSING 🚨

Despite an incredible effort over the past 29 days, Remmy is still missing.

For weeks, there have been cameras deployed every night and we have been closely monitoring the area. We have received fantastic support from local landowners who kindly allowed us access to their land, and we are extremely grateful for their help.

Unfortunately, during this time, two of our £100 cameras have been deliberately vandalised and destroyed, while a third was removed and thrown into a bush. Thankfully, we managed to recover it. These incidents have made the search much more challenging and extremely expensive.

Remmy’s owners have done everything possible to bring him home, but he is an exceptionally street smart dog and has managed to avoid detection, with only occasional camera sightings confirming his location.

We now believe Remmy may have moved on from the area we were watching, so we are asking residents in Bournemouth and Branksome to keep a lookout for him.

⚠️ Please do not call out to him, approach him, or attempt to catch him. Doing so could cause him to run and make it even harder to bring him safely home.

We understand that many people want updates and information about the search. However, we will not share information outside of the active search team. The owners’ privacy is important, and if they wish to share additional information, they will do so themselves.

Please help us by sharing this post as widely as possible. The more people who are aware that Remmy is missing, the greater the chance that someone will spot him and report a sighting. Even a single sighting could be the breakthrough needed to bring him safely home.

Join us for a hoopers taster workshop on 1st and 2nd July.
We are delighted to be hosting two introductory Canine Hoopers Taster Workshops with Rachel Hunt, our Hoopers trainer at Watercombe Dogs.
Canine Hoopers is a low-impact, flowing dog sport that is highly accessible and suitable for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and abilities. Unlike agility, Hoopers focuses on distance handling and independent navigation, rather than the handler’s speed or ability to run alongside their dog.
These two-hour workshops are perfect for dogs aged 16 months and over with little or no Hoopers experience, as well as handlers who would like to revisit and strengthen the foundation skills.
During the workshop, we will cover:

Forward drive
Directional cues
Equipment value

Aster is our longest stay resident who is looking for an alternative lifestyle home.

Someone who is able to provide an outdoor lifestyle where she can live more independently as a "hands off" cat, whilst being supported with food, shelter, veterinary care and allowed choice as to whether and when she may engage with carers.

Alternative homes might include stables, farms, gardens with outbuilding/unused shed.

Missing Remmy – Bournemouth

The area marked within the circle on the map has become a second area of interest in the search for Remmy.

While there have been no confirmed sightings in this location, we were previously involved in a search where another missing dog travelled undetected from an area Remmy has been sighted to this location and was later safely secured there.

We are asking anyone living in or around the marked area to please remain vigilant and check any gardens, driveways or quiet spaces where Remmy may be sheltering.

😢 Bring Remmy home.

MISSING - BOURNEMOUTH - 14th May

Remmy has gone missing while out on a walk. He was last seen near the Harvester, Durley Chine at approximately 19:30hrs, without his harness or lead attached. He was seen up the hill away from the beach.

We are currently working alongside DogLost and Remmy’s owner to provide support and guidance.

If you see Remmy, please do not call, chase, or approach him, as this may cause him to run further.
