Perfect for dogs of any age from 6m+ who know a little but want to learn a lot! Ready to take the next step?
The classes are designed for dogs who already know some basic cues but are ready to take their skills to the next level. Whether you’ve just completed a puppy class or have been working on training at home, our small, friendly class environment (maximum 6 dogs) allows your dog to grow and practice in a positive, relaxed outdoor setting. I highly recommend for pups who have learnt skills in an inside environment, progressing to outside classes creates new challenges.
TDTS Level 1 Criteria:
20 seconds Sit
Hand Touch (both hands) at 5 paces
Recall to a Sit in front from 5m distance
Leave-it (food)
Door/Gate/Kerb Manners - Dog to wait at your side, before being released to cross calmly
Smiley Lead Walking Distance of 20m start and end with a Sit, with a L, R and an about turn no more than 2 rewards, no luring.
Bonus – Exercise to be determined
