Big news from HQ! Last night, CEO Claude gathered his loyal minions (a.k.a. us) to announce something eggstra exciting…

He’s officially hopping into the role of Easter Bunny 🐰 this weekend! Why? Because he thinks all the lovely humans who bring their adorable doggos to Claude’s Meadow deserve a little treat.

So, he’s put together a basket of chocolatey Easter goodies that’ll be chilling on the bench for anyone with a booking on Sunday to enjoy!

Afternoon folks.

Thanks to our bloomin’ brilliant customers we’ve just been able to donate another £145 to The Pointer Rescue Service 🥳

Total Donated this year: £312.50

Total Donated Since Opening: £2382.72

These donations really do make a difference! 🌟

The Pointer Rescue Service is run by volunteers so everything gets spent on helping to rehome dogs from the UK and abroad. This can be transport, health checks, food costs, vet bills for adopters to name just a few! Every penny really does help! 🙌🏻😊

So, Anna (Chief Poo Picker at Claude’s Meadow) said to Claude (CEO) two weeks ago ‘if we get a fully booked day then i will buy you and Juno (The Apprentice) a fillet steak 🥩 each for your tea!

So, we were contacted by a lovely lady called Toni who has recently moved to the area. Toni did a wonderful thing and rescued a dog called Buddy. Now Buddy isn’t one for playing fetch etc but loves to play with other dogs. Toni & Buddy are looking for people who have a sociable dog/s who would like to share a booking from time to time at Claude’s Meadow.

Some words from Buddy himself: 😁🐶

‘Hi, I’m Buddy and need some friends as I’ve recently moved home. I love to wrestle and chase with a big dog but know to be gentle with the little ones. I like to hump but if you tell me off I will know my place. I don’t mind if you want to be rough with me but will let you know with a grumble if I get tired. Would love to meet up at Claude’s meadow’

So, we all lost an hours sleep last night with the clocks ⏰ going forward 🫣😩 😴

The good news is that it means more daylight hours to exercise your pooches and that summer isn’t far away! 🐶 🥳 ☀️

We’re open from 8am to 8pm which means the 7pm slot can now be utilised without the need for torches!🔦 🥳

They’ve been busy filling the water 💦 station, checking for missed dog poops 💩 daily and inspecting the mole hill situation.

It’s a hard life!

If you’re heading from Sherburn today to visit Claude’s Meadow, we’ve just been told that there is a huge queue of traffic to get into the motorist causing quite a tailback.

Might be best to use an alternative route and avoid until a bit later in the day!
