​We hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer! Our Grow and Thrive taster sessions return next week, and we are thrilled to welcome everyone back to the farm.
​
These sessions are specially designed for adults (aged 18+), with additional needs, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities.
We offer a safe, small-group, and therapeutic environment where everyone can feel supported, build skills, and grow in confidence.

​🐾 Practical Care Sessions
Tuesdays ​Starts 1st September
🕙 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
​A hands-on, practical session focused on the daily essentials of animal care—learning how to FEED, CLEAN, and CARE for the animals.

​✨ Therapeutic Interaction Sessions
Wednesdays ​Starts 2ndSeptember
🕙1:00 PM – 2:30 PM

£8.50 per session for participants | £3.50 for carers

🌞 IMPORTANT UPDATE — HOT WEATHER ARRANGEMENTS 🌞

Due to the current high temperatures, we are putting the welfare and comfort of our animals first over the next two days. 🐾

To keep our animals safe, cool, and stress-free, some activities will be restricted or adjusted during this time. We hope to still run our popular petting sessions where possible, but these may be limited or adapted depending on how the animals are coping on the day.

🌡️ Why we do this:

• Animals can overheat quickly especially when handled or active

• We protect them from heat stress and exhaustion

• Every animal has different needs we follow their lead, not the timetable

• We keep them calm, shaded, and well-watered above all else

📞 Please call ahead before travelling if you are unsure what activities will be running on the day. We will be happy to advise you!

It's happen again please help
And share normally our
horses and sheep are in the field right by the fire, we are lucky we moved them last week

⚠️ URGENT APPEAL – DELIBERATE FIRE ON PREMISES Please Share

Unfortunately, we have once again been targeted by a deliberate fire on our site.

During this incident, a male individual spoke to one of our members of staff. He stated he witnessed the fire being started and could identify those responsible, and appeared to be trying to put on an accent when speaking. He was seen near the other side of the bushes alongside the public footpath/gully walk way

We urgently ask this man to come forward the police wish to speak to you as a vital witness in this investigation.

We also appeal to neighbours and anyone in the areas of Di**le view by the gully area Sandy Fields Road, the top of the gully, or Cotwall End Road at the bottom of the gully: please check any CCTV, dashcam or phone footage from around the time of the incident ( 8:30pm). If you captured any people or unusual activity in this area, please get in touch immediately this information is extremely important.

Join us every Saturday morning for a magical outdoor adventure where stories come to life! Perfect for little explorers who love nature, imagination and getting muddy.

Over six exciting weeks we’ll explore a different beloved children’s story through hands-on activities, woodland play and creative crafts:

Adults Only at the Farm 🦙🐰

What a lovely evening we’ve had welcoming everyone to tonight’s Adults Only Session! 💚

Our guests enjoyed spending quality time with our friendly animals, from meeting and feeding the alpacas to cuddling some of our smaller residents. It was the perfect opportunity to slow down, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the farm, and experience everything our animals have to offer in a relaxed, child-free setting.

🦙 What a fantastic afternoon at today’s Alpaca Experience! 🦙

We had so much fun spending time with our wonderful alpacas, Buzz and Duke! Everyone helped feed them, top up their fresh water, clean their paddock, and of course enjoyed giving them plenty of treats and fuss.

It was lovely to see everyone gaining confidence around the alpacas, learning all about their care, and enjoying a relaxing walk together around the farm. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made today’s session so special!

We can’t wait to welcome our next group for another unforgettable Alpaca Experience. 💚

🐑🚜 Farmer for the Day – Monday Fun! 🐇🐥

We had a lovely morning with a smaller group of our regular Farmer for the Day children, giving us plenty of time to get hands-on with all of our animals!

Our little farmers worked hard feeding, cleaning, and watering our rabbits before heading over to care for our alpacas, making sure they were fed and their enclosure was nice and tidy.

Everyone also enjoyed meeting and handling some of our adorable baby chicks, as well as getting to know our newest rodent residents here on the farm. It was wonderful to see how gentle, caring, and confident everyone was with the animals.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we always love seeing familiar faces and watching your confidence and animal care skills grow each visit! 💚🐾
