✨ALL SET FOR WHAT’S NEXT

We hope everyone had a wonderful, busy half term break, it’s been lovely for you all to recharge, and now we are so happy to be back and ready to go for summer term.

A huge warm welcome to our new volunteers who have joined this week 🤩 We are so glad to have you on the team, and we can’t wait for you to be part of everything we do on the farm

We are now getting everything ready for our busy, fun summer term ahead here’s what’s coming up over the next few weeks:

🫧 PLAY GROUPS
Every Tuesday — 10:00am to 11:00am
Come along for play, stories, crafts and lots of ANIMAL FUN! 🐾🐥🐑
All welcome — a lovely hour for little ones and grown‑ups to enjoy together. £28 for block of 4 weeks one child one adult, extra adults £2

🌳 FOREST FUN SESSIONS
Saturday morning — 9:00am to 10:00am

Get outdoors, explore nature, get messy and enjoy the fresh air with us! £32 for a block of 4 weeks per child £2 adults per session

Home education groups are fully booked sorry

🌞 A Big Thank You To All Our Wonderful Customers 🌞

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to every single one of you for your kindness, patience and understanding over the last few days during this intense heat 🐾

As you know, the health, safety and wellbeing of our animals, our team, our amazing volunteers and of course all of you is always our absolute top priority. When temperatures rise, we have to make careful decisions to keep everyone safe and comfortable, which meant adjusting some of our usual schedules and changing a few of our farm activities.

We know things were a little different to normal, and we really appreciate how understanding and supportive you have been. It means the world to us that you recognise why these changes were necessary, and that you stand with us in putting the welfare of our animals and people first. 💛

The weather is starting to settle now, and we’re getting everything back to normal as quickly as we can. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to enjoy the cooler weather on the farm very soon

Thank you again for being such an incredible, understanding community we are so lucky to have you all.

🚨 SERIOUS INCIDENT ON SITE 🚨

We are absolutely disgusted and angry to have to post this. Someone has deliberately come onto our land, built up wood and materials within the van, and set fire to them with the clear intention to cause fire damage.

This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous in every way. What makes this even worse is that at the time of this happening, our horses were in the bottom paddock not far at all from where this fire was started.

These animals trust us to keep them safe, and this reckless, selfish act put their lives at risk, as well as our property and the land. There is absolutely no excuse for this. Arson is never a joke, but doing this deliberately where animals are kept is just pure cruelty and stupidity.

Please keep your eyes open, if anyone saw anything or has any information, This was done around 10.10am this evening..

☀️ IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING VISITS ☀️

With the warm weather and heatwave forecast this weekend, we will be making small adjustments to our usual routine to ensure the health and welfare of all our animals 🐐🐑🐰

To keep everyone safe and comfortable, petting sessions may be reduced or shorter than usual during the hottest parts of the day.

If you are travelling a distance to come and see us, please get in touch ahead of your visit to check exact running times and availability.

🦙 Alpaca Experience at Sedgley Adventure Centre

Join us for a fun and exciting Alpaca Experience, perfect for animal lovers!

Taking place on Sunday 24th May at 10:00am, this hands-on session gives you the chance to discover what it’s really like to own and care for alpacas. Meet our friendly stars, Buzz and Duke, and get up close as you learn how to feed, handle, and look after these gentle animals.

During the experience, you’ll take part in real daily care activities including feeding the alpacas, giving them fresh water, and even helping to poo pick their field a true behind the scenes look at alpaca ownership! You’ll also enjoy taking Buzz and Duke for a walk, making it a fun and interactive experience from start to finish.

There will be plenty of opportunities for close-up photos, and we’re more than happy to take a full family photo for you to remember your visit.

These are very small, limited sessions, creating a more personal experience and can even feel like a private booking if you attend with your family.

Come along for a morning full of learning, laughter, and plenty of fluffy fun!
