Hello fellow dog loving friends! Just for a quick heads up...if you have a real Christmas tree at home make sure there is no standing available water in the pot that your dog could drink . My whippet has been poorly with V & D since the weekend and we’ve finally realised he was drinking from our tree water, go figure! ...clearly a tasty treat 🤪. My vet confirmed today that any pine resins can be very toxic to dogs and it would be the most likely reason for his tummy upset. He’s on the mend now thankfully. Have a good Christmas all and keep your canine friends safe and well 😊
