Hi everyone! Sorry for being soo absent lately, I put breeding on hold for a while for various reasons, mostly to do with my own mental health, feeling overwhelmed and a lot of issues with general life but I'm ready to start up again and will endeavour to pick up all your messages and update you with next litters etc. Thanks for your patience and understanding.. watch this space for the Ratshack to come back to all its former glory xx

Hi everyone. I have been taking a break from breeding due to various surgeries but I'm now back baby! Hope everyone is well!

I am now fully ,NFRS registered. I have Siamese, Agouti, Dumbos lined up for my next litter due in about 2 months time. I've added everyone to the waiting lists and i will keep you all updated.

Visiting your babies once born is totally fine and fully encouraged.

All babies will be handled daily by myself and my 3 children.

I pride myself in rearing confident tame rats, who will be healthy and used to noises being handled a LOT.

None of my rats ever have more than 2 litters. I don't do this for profit I do this for love and passion and everything goes back into the rats. I just want to give people the best pets.

I've learnt a hell of a lot about these beautiful creatures and shared some adventures with them along the way.

We are a family run business, our home is our rats home, they have free reign in the evenings get spoilt and fed a well balanced healthy diet with an enrichment of toys and activities inside and outside their cages!

We offer delivery if you don't drive and I also offer boarding and taming services. I also am a fully qualified photographer so you'll be bombarded with photos. I can also offer photoshoots by appointment, i can come to you or you to me.

Morning everyone!!! I've had my sugery! I feel like a new woman, albeit a sore haggard feeling woman but I'm getting there non the less and still a woman (it wasn't a s*x change). I had a full on tummy tuck with massive muscle repair. So everything is nicely tucked up and back in the right place and my organs are held in now.. and I feel stronger! Lol

Anyway enough about me!! You just want to know when you can get your hands on some babies ratties!!!

So.. firstly...
I am now NFRS registered so if you're a member then you'll see my Rattery name in the newsletters etc when the next one comes out. I've worked hard for this! Feels like a great achievement and I've learnt a lot over this last year. I've taken abuse, taken advise, shared advise, been commended, and have been disheartened, but above all I have found a massive appreciation for ALL breeders, rescuers and rat owners in general, we all make up such a special, borderline obsessive community that is dedicated and passionate about Rats and everything rat related.. 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway.. I shall be getting back to breeding this week so babies should be ready for all you patient people on my list for early Nov. I will be selecting my Agouti line for this next litter so we should see some beautiful creamy browns, a hard colour to explain but it's just a rich chestnut I suppose, reminds me of nature and forests and Autum. Anyway it's not all about looks, I endeavour to make babies confident, happy rats that get used to family life, noisy children, scary loud hovers, music, bad singing and all the normal things that come with day to day life, so they won't be timid or scardy rats, they will be confident hard nut softies with big hearts and a treasure to you!!

I will update you more as time goes on.

I'm feeling much more positive and organised and I shall reposed to any messages I may have missed and now have my goals mapped out and am excited to get back into the swing of things.

Hi everyone!! Sorry I've been slack lately at posting! I have major surgery coming up in sept so all breeding is on hold until October. I will update you all nearer the time. I have now submitted my application for the NFRS official breeders list as I've now been doing it for a year so that's really exciting!! Please leave me a message on what you're after and I'll pencil you onto my list and then send applications nearer the time ###

Thank you soo much to everyone who recommends the Rat Shack! My Rating is 5/5! It means the World to me, I put soo much love effort and devotion into my Rattery. Through thick and thin I've given it my all and I am so greatul to each and everyone of you who has chosen me as your breeder and, or boarder.

I'm always here for you all, for advise, support and just general rat obsessive conversation. The rat community is a special one, these creatures are simply unique and give so much more than you can ever imagine and I feel truly honoured I, at least have some role in providing you with these pets that come from the best start to give you that added special little bonus in life that makes it all the more worthwhile.
