Little Jasper’s progress the other day was incredible to see 🤍🐴

At the start, he was very tense, unsure, and wouldn’t go anywhere near the mounting block, constantly looking back towards his owner, which is completely understandable as an ex lead rein pony.

With patience, reassurance, and taking everything at his pace, we worked on building his confidence around mounting and handling from the ground. By the end of the session, I was able to get on and off him calmly without any tension or uncertainty from Jasper, and he was walking absolutely amazing.

Although the saddle wasn’t fitting correctly, that doesn’t mean we can’t continue introducing him to the process and helping him become comfortable and confident with everything step by step.

He even offered a cheeky little trot once he started feeling comfortable and confident, which was lovely to see 🤍

I’m incredibly pleased with Jasper’s progress and so excited to continue building his confidence 🐴🤍

New face today — meet little Jasper 🐴

Jasper is an 11.2hh, 6-year-old pony who is such a quiet and sweet boy. He has previously been used as a lead rein pony but hasn’t done a great deal, so we are taking things slowly and focusing on rebuilding his confidence off the lead rein and back into ridden work.

Within just 10 minutes, this pony made a huge change and really started to relax and understand what was being asked of him. He’s proving to be a super quiet pony and such a handsome little guy too!

I’m really looking forward to following his riding journey and seeing how far he progresses ps rode him bare back due to girth not fitting and he is just a super pony 🤍🐴

✨ A little appreciation post for Dora ✨

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dora as part of my freelance riding, and she has been an absolute joy from the very beginning.

She’s such a genuine, willing mare who tries her heart out every ride, and it’s been incredibly rewarding getting to know her and helping her progress. Watching her confidence grow and seeing the improvements she’s making each session has been so lovely.

Dora has such a kind attitude and always gives 100%, which makes working with her such an enjoyable experience. Horses like her are exactly why I love what I do.

Very excited to continue working with this lovely girl and see what more she’s capable of 🐴✨
