Tiny came to stay with me and Dotti again on Thursday until today.
He's 14 years old and struggles with age related issues especially mobility.
He was so good, enjoyed his short walks and pottering about in the garden. He struggled with the laminate floor in my room so brought the runner from the hall in. He was very relaxed and ate all his meals(especially the sausages)

Gus came to stay with me and Dotti again on Saturday for a long weekend whilst his dog parents went to a wedding.
As usual he was an absolute joy and pleasure to look after. He's such a happy, laid back boy.
Because of the heat we only managed a short walk on Saturday then didn't venture out for the rest of his stay but he was happy to mooch around the garden.I set up the doggy paddling pool for him and Dotti but neither of them showed any interest and didn't go in. Dotti just apple bobbed the balls 🤣

Eggsy came for his first sleepover on Sunday.
It's best for my doggy pals to have a sleepover prior to longer bookings to make sure they will be happy and comfortable and his owners agreed.
He was a bit anxious and upset when they first left him but after lots of cuddles and reassuring he settled down.
He stayed in the doggy room for a while but eventually wandered into my room and claimed my footstool as many do.
He wasn't any trouble in the night and got on well with my dog Dotti.
It was a pleasure looking after you Eggsy, see you again soon 🐕 😊 😘

Bonnie's Diary.
Bonnie went home on Sunday after spending two weeks with me and Dotti.
From the shy,nervous dog when she first came to see us to a happy,relaxed dog was wonderful to see.
She made herself at home, from sitting on my footstool and looking at the garden to sitting on my chairarm and trying to worm her way onto my heat pad.
She ate all her meals,including a chicken dinner and an occasional sausage 😋
Her owners left me some thank you gifts and a lovely card which I thought was so kind 🙂🥰

This is Eggsy (love his name😊)
He's a three year old Cockapoo and came this morning for a meet and greet.
He's such a sweet natured chap, wasn't nervous and he and Dotti got on well. They even had a play together ❤️
He's coming on Sunday for a sleepover to make sure he will be happy staying with us.

Bonnie's Diary
After many visits and stays to gain her trust and boost her confidence Bonnie came to stay with me and Dotti yesterday for two weeks.
It really paid off because she wasn't worried or anxious at all.
She ate all of her tea and settled down claiming my footstool as many of my doggy visitors do.
No problems in the night and explored the garden after breakfast.
I will be sending regular updates and photos to her owners to put their mind at ease.

Ted came for his first sleepover last night to build his confidence before a longer stay.
He had already been to stay with us for an afternoon so this was the next step.
He soon settled in and took a liking to the dog bed that is in the doggy room.
He ventured into my room for a while and enjoyed the garden.
He slept well and wasn't at all upset.
Well done Ted, it was a pleasure to look after you,see you again soon 🐕🥰

One of my regular doggy friends Gus came to stay with me for a few days on Tuesday.
As usual he was a pleasure to look after.
We went to the beach which he loves and had a lovely walk up peasholm Glen.
He enjoyed exploring my garden.
Looking forward to seeing you again in May 🐕😻

I thought it was time for my dog Dotti to have her own post as she always seems to be in the background of other posts.
She came to me about three years ago after my daughter convinced me to get another dog after losing my beloved cocker spaniel Murphy at the age of fourteen. She found her online and I agreed to go to Doncaster JUST!! to have a look at her and obviously I fell for her immediately.
She was very anxious and nervous to start with but with time and patience her confidence and trust grew.
She's a typical spaniel, full of energy and loves her ball and toys.
I'm so lucky that she is so laid back and not concerned when my doggy guests come to stay.
She is always introduced to them after they have had time to get to know me and their surroundings.
Thank you Dotti for letting me do this job that I absolutely love doing ❤️ 💕

Dotti has been for a much needed groom this afternoon with Lara at gentle touch.
What a difference, she's got her dots back and smells lovely.
Lara gave her an Easter ( spotty) bandana and an Easter treat bag which has gone down well.
Dotti always comes away totally relaxed and happy 😊
