Luna’s owners reached out about doing some work with her. Despite having great obedience on the lead she is a live wire and had zero recall off it. A quick session with her and her owners and the building blocks were started with distance control and recall. Using her motivation for food as a lure and a reward for doing as asked

Started working with this live wire Mali last week. He is a licensed security dog but his handler wanted to teach him to search. Within a couple of short sessions we have now got him searching to a concealed subject hidden behind a door mail

We introduced a customers dog to scent work yesterday. We are strong believers in harnessing a dogs natural abilities to enrich their lives and to HAVE FUN. This was him after just 40 mins training. He picked it up really quickly and will now free search for items with human scent on with a short “freeze” indication. The second image is him that night tired but fulfilled ❤️

A few weeks ago Rob reached out about his dogs. He had issues with the dogs pulling on the lead and reactivity with other dogs and people. We have been working together and both dogs have improved greatly not the finished product yet but here is Rob showing what can be achieved with training and consistency.

Nose licking is part of dog communication and one of many behaviours of Calming signals. They use it to maintain safe and calm relationship with other dogs and even us. Learning about calming signals can help to prevent aggressive behaviors, to enhance the training and make every day communication better. That's the way dogs talk to us!
