**Rehoming: Loving 6-Year-Old Female Irish Water Spaniel – Seeking a Calm, Adult-Only Forever Home**

My daughter has moved back home with her young children for the foreseeable future. While my girl has a fantastic, affectionate personality and is spoilt, she is quite nervous/scared around little ones (especially under 6–7 years old). I simply cannot risk any incident. So, with a very heavy heart, she needs a new loving home by June.

**About her:**
- Breed: Irish Water Spaniel
- Age: Turns 6 in May
- S*x: Female (not neutered)
- Health: Excellent – always in good health, up to date with everything
- Personality: Sweet, fun, affectionate, and a real character – she has bags of personality and loves her people
- Energy level: Active girl who needs long walks and mental stimulation (she'd suit someone who enjoys plenty of exercise and has time for her)
- Best suited to: A mature, calm adult household (ideally no young children). She'd thrive with someone experienced who can give her patience, routine, and lots of one-on-one attention
- With other dogs: Gets on brilliantly with males (she lives happily with our male dog). Not so keen on other females
- Other notes: She's a bit of a scaredy-cat in new situations but comes alive with trust and love. No major behavioural issues – just needs understanding around small kids/noise

She deserves the absolute best after giving us years of joy and unconditional love.
