☀️ Keeping Your Dogs Cool In The Hot Weather ☀️🐶

With the warmer weather here, it’s so important to help keep our furry friends cool and safe 🐾

Here are a few simple tips:
💧 Always make sure fresh water is available
🌳 Walk dogs early morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler
🔥 Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
❄️ Use cooling mats, damp towels or frozen treats to help them cool down
🚫 Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes
✂️ Keep on top of grooming to remove excess coat and help air circulate

Please keep an eye out for signs of overheating such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy or vomiting.

This procedure is only recommended when a dog is showing discomfort or has been advised by a vet, rather than as a routine add-on. Separating the cost helps ensure it’s only carried out when truly needed and is more beneficial for your dog.
