It saddens me to write this but I have unfortunately had too many clients recently cancel their appointments with hours notice or customers just not turning up at all and whilst being a small business this has a detrimental effect on my income as I am unable to fill grooming slots with little notice. I do have a cancellation policy and although I have been really lenient with this in the past I can’t anymore. If you are to cancel your appointment within 24 hours or not show up you will be charged for the full price of your dogs groom. Which is common procedure for all 1-2-1 groomers as we provide a different service compared to a high volume salon. I will also now be putting in place that I will require a 50% deposit for all new customers for their first appointment as it seems a big percentage of no show cases comes from new bookings. I don’t like writing these and I hope you can understand the reasoning behind this message 🐾

BEAU! 🌟

What an absolute sweetheart! This was Beau’s first groom with me and she was such a calm and gentle girl. During her groom I managed to deshed an incredible amount of hair from her which will make her feel so much better in this heat. See you in six weeks Beau 😍

A question that I often get asked. Whilst some groomers may still be fine with grooming your dog whilst in heat. I personally will not groom your dog in season for the following reasons:
Your dog’s welfare and grooming experience is my top priority. A dog goes through massive hormonal changes whilst is season and this can put a negative impact on their grooming experience.
Different areas of their body become more swollen and sensitive.
They also let off a different scent that can make it distractive and stressful for any other dog that comes in following their appointment.
Dogs are generally very good at cleaning themselves whilst in season.

This beautiful girl hasn’t had it easy. She has had both of her eyes removed and she is slightly deaf but this doesn’t stop her living a full and happy life. Today was her second groom with me and already she has settled into the grooming process so well with lots of cuddles and positive reassurance. I mean look at her smile 🥹
