Manor Farm Riding School We offer lessons from 4yrs and upwards (walk outs from 3yrs). Lessons can be group, private or shared private. Fantastic off road hacking.

Facilities for dressage, showjumping, cross country. All sizes of horses, for all abilities - ranging from 11.2hh to 17hh. Also a livery yard offering full and working livery.

I Have Been Putting Off Writing This Post As It Has Not Been an Easy Decision 🤔

Manor Farm Riding School
Will be closing for lessons on the 7th November 2025. So in just a few weeks time.

Therefore we are not taking on any new customers now.

We have been a Riding School for 35 years.
And it has been fabulous, but it is now time to close our doors 😞
Thank you for all the customers over the years, and members of staff, many of which we are still in contact with today.

The Yard as a whole is not closing
Instead the focus will now be on the Livery side of the business, teaching clients on their own horses, riding and stable management.
And we will also be able to hire out our facilities, such as the arena.

Best Wishes to everyone and I am sure some of us will cross paths in the future.

We have just had two horses go through a fence to escape these???!!!!
Or better still
Don’t use them at all as not very environmentally friendly?!

£15 for one horse per hour
£20 for two horses per hour
Hire of poles jump blocks etc additional £5

Tuition available £30 private 30-45 min lesson
£25 each for a shared lesson with 2 horses
Max capacity 3 x horses £20 each
Tuition includes hire of the arena and any equipment used 🐴😊

I am a BHS AI with over 35 years experience, interested in helping my clients build confidence and knowledge, while improving your riding skills and technics to enable you to have more fun with your horse 😉

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately I have some very sad news to let you all know about this morning

Yesterday morning I had to have Simba Put to Sleep 🐴😢
After being poorly for the last week he took a turn for the worst and he needed to be out of pain.
He has been a fabulous pony, done so much and I have loved every moment of owning him. So here are some photos to remember him by and help to celebrate his time at the stables

RIDING LESSONS UPDATE 🐴🐴🐴

Sorry for only just posting now, but this week has flown past?!

Following on from Government Guidelines given on Monday 23rd, evening, I have made the decision to -

COMPLETELY CLOSE THE RIDING SCHOOL until further notice 😔
It is the only way to make sure everyone stays safe and well.

I will contact each individual customer as well, by text or messenger, to make sure everyone knows.

Please keep yourselves safe and we will look forward to seeing you later in the year

HI EVERYONE,

Sorry I have not posted a message on our page sooner?!
However every time I think I know what to say? Our current crazy world situation changes?!
Last week was a bit of a roller coaster? Some of you may know I was supposed to be on holiday for the week? But that didn’t happen!!

At the moment we are remaining Open -
We are mindful of the current situation with precautions in place.

We totally understand that some of our customers have already had to cancel Riding lessons, some for financial reasons and some health.
To you guys, stay safe and well, and we will look forward to seeing you all back again later this year.

To our customers who are still in a position to come for lessons, thank you so much for your continued support
My Riding School has been built up over the last 30years, but has never had to cope with anything as massive as what is happening at the moment?!?!

I am determined to get through this and be here for all our riders at the other end
But if I am honest I am quite scared of what the next few weeks may bring
