One year ago today was my opening day of Ruff to Fluff. On that day I was filled with excitement but also a little nervous as I didn’t know how many customers I would get!... Had I made the right decision? 😅 One year on and I am basically fully booked most of the time and have met lots of lovely dogs. And it’s thanks to all my wonderful customers who chose to come here. Thank you so much everyone for supporting my business. I truly appreciate it 😊❤️

Level 3 Qualified Dog Groomer
Self employed part time position
2 - 3 days per week

Due to an increase in clients I am now looking for another dog groomer to join me at my grooming parlour in Lake.

I opened Ruff to Fluff in August last year and business has been amazing. I have some lovely clients and have built up a great reputation. If you are a friendly person with a passion for dog grooming and would like to work in a quieter less hectic grooming environment then this may be the perfect position for you! I currently work alone and provide a one-to-one grooming service which is beneficial for my nervous dog customers. I will need another groomer willing to take on new clients. You will be renting a table in the parlour which I will discuss price etc during interview.

Duties:
- Perform grooming services of a high quality standard such as bathing, clipping and styling dogs according to the owner’s preference.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Show kindness, patience and care towards all dogs.
- Be visualant of the dog's wellbeing. Any concerns need to be shared with the owner.
- Assist with daily management of the salon such as sweeping up hair and cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds, temperaments and grooming needs.
- A confident and gentle approach to dog handling.
- A positive attitude.
- Helping one another as a team.
- Level 3 Dog Grooming qualification.
- Your own grooming clippers and scissors.

Here I am back in July of last year on my way to the IOW County Show advertising Ruff to Fluff for the first time. I officially opened the parlour on the 18th August 2024. I can not believe how much the business has grown in just over 6 months. I'm so grateful for all my lovely clients (dogs and human one's!) Thank you for your continued custom.

Due to how busy I've become I sadly can't take on anymore new clients at this time (I wish I could) but I am hoping to find another dog groomer to join me at some point this year.
