How to keep your dog cool tip 💙🐶

This is what I've done for our dog Shado who's struggling with the heat today. Soak a towel with cold tap water. Ring it out and put a fan infront of them. You need a plastic mat or I've used plastic bags. The cool towel is nice for their tummy! Don't put a wet towel over them though as it acts like a blanket and traps the heat around their body.

HOT WEATHER 🥵

If you have an appointment and feel it's too hot to bring your dog in please let us know. I would rather reschedule your appointment than you struggle to bring your dog in for grooming in the heat, especially if you have an older dog. Please don't walk them to and from the parlour on really hot days as the pavement will be too hot for their paw pads. I will make sure there's space outside for drop off and collection in the car. Luckily the parlour stays reasonably cool as we are in the shade most of the day. I have fans going all day and water available as always.

I haven’t posted any photo’s for a while so here are some I’ve taken recently. Thank you all for being so lovely and loyal customers. I hope your pup’s have been keeping cool in the recent warm weather we’ve had. I always enjoy seeing all my lovely doggy clients. It will be 2 years in August since I opened! 😊
Once again we can’t take any new clients at the moment. June is almost fully booked 🐶
