"The Livery" at Springbank Farm is located in idyllic countryside near to Sandbach, Cheshire, which is perfect for hacking. We provide a high quality full livery service with facilities including 12 large monarch stables, with wash area and solarium and all year turnout in secure post and rail paddocks. We offer two recently constructed ménages; 50x25 metre outdoor and a 40x20 metre floodlit indoo

r both with Martin Collins surfaces and a viewing gallery. We also care about you....having invested in modern showers, toilets and changing rooms together with a well equipped kitchen with relaxation area (free tea and coffee!) including a flat screen TV. We provide a professional breaking and schooling service, with over 30 years experience at handling and correcting problem horses. In addition we can provide transportation for horses. At Springbank Farm we are continually reinvesting and current projects include a working hunter course, loose school and short farm ride. With 24 hour on-site management and CCTV our aim is to provide the highest standard of care and security for both your horse and you! As a small tight-knit team, every member of our staff brings something special, they know every horse like the back of their hands with all of their individual personalities, little quirks and specific needs.

Every member of our team is knowledgeable, has years of experience and are incredibly passionate about what they do. All of this combined allows us to deliver truly individualised, top-level care to every horse on our yard!

On top of this they are all trustworthy, consistent and reliable giving not just me, but all of our owners, complete peace of mind knowing their horses are in the very best hands, day in and day out 🙌🏻.

✅Bale of shavings per week (straw optional for full livery)

✅ All year turnout in well maintained post and rail paddocks (overnight optional through summer). We believe the horses should get out as much as possible so give as much turn out as possible!

It's been the equine week of action.

We have focused on rural roads working with the local PCSO's in the West & East of Cheshire to improve drivers knowledge on passing vulnerable roads users safely.
Vehicles were stopped who were travelling over the speed limit and were educated on equine safety, how to pass horses, cyclists and walkers and they were given a copy of the leaflet. https://orlo.uk/vIvEW

I try to keep a balanced approach to our posts and you will have seen previously about riders and cyclists should also be visible when out on the roads to help keep safe.
The drivers we spoke to were responsive to the education and hopefully the message will be passed on to their friends and family to help in making roads safer.

♦️Weekend Groom Vacancy♦️

We are looking for a member of staff to work 1 full day on the weekend. Our yard offers a variety of livery packages with great facilities.

The successful applicant must be experienced and confident in handling all types of horses, have great attention to detail and be hard working. Must be capable of working sole charge at times and be able to communicate effectively with our liveries and other members of staff. Being reliable is extremely important!

All of our members of staff have worked for our yard for multiple years so we are ideally looking for somebody to join our team long term!

If you tick the above criteria and are looking to work on a livery yard with great facilities, a friendly working atmosphere and a lovely team of staff, liveries & horses then this job is perfect for you!
