We’ve received a lot of calls over the last week regarding the cows, so we just wanted to reassure everyone.

If the cows are stood in the road, please just drive slowly towards them — we can promise you they will move out of the way. You won’t hurt them, and they won’t hurt you.

If your dog is sniffing the cows while they are near the field, that is also absolutely fine. Your dog will not upset the cows or pass anything on to them.

The cows are simply very daft and very inquisitive, especially when they are younger. They are naturally curious and like to investigate what’s going on around them. As they mature, they settle down and become far less interested.

Please just be mindful that this is a working farm, and the cows may or may not be in the field at different times.

Whilst I'm sunning myself in Portugal, I'm keeping an eye on the weather back home. If you have made a booking and feel it's going to be too hot, the best way to amend your booking is to use the rescheduling link on your confirmation email. Sometimes the cancellation refund doesn't go through properly, so rescheduling is always best . Stay safe! 🌞
