Say hello to the gorgeous Seamus! The is a very unique breed with so many adorable characteristics. Seamus in particular has - in his pawrents’ words - a “cat vibe”, meaning he can be aloof sometimes but when he curls up next to you and gives you love, then you know that you’re a very special person 🥰 Looking forward to a few days of exciting beach and hilltop adventures!

Welcome Millie! Our very first Coton de Tuléar to join the pack. She may look a lot like a Maltese but her breed originates from Madagascar and if her queen-like disposition is anything to go by, we’d guess that the Coton de Tuléars are highly revered in their homeland…

(We googled it and yes, they’re also known as the “Royal Dog”)

We’ve had a brilliant week so far with the beautiful Nala and her feline brother Milo. 🥰 Jim has enjoyed showing Nala some of our favourite walks. Today we are up at 📍Willsbridge Mill which was one of Poppy’s favourites. ❤️

A busy and exciting week at the farm as usual 🥰 This week we had a broody hen who was separated from the flock - with her rooster pal for company - to encourage her to eat and drink. Did you know that a broody hen will neglect her own well-being to prioritise incubating her egg? Now THAT is a good mum 🐔❤️

So what have we been up to? Well, we spent 2 weeks in beautiful East Riding, Yorkshire, taking care of the even more beautiful Charlie Brown who doesn’t act at all like he’s 14 years old! 🙀 He has a special place in my heart as a and just like Poppy of course

Apologies it’s been so long since our last post but as many will already know, we said goodbye to Poppy on the 27th May. Understandably it’s been a hugely difficult time for us so we’ve had to table our social media for a bit. She’s left a huge hole in our lives and we think about her every day. Thanks for bearing with us.

Ted and Bruce the sheep 🐑 have had their summer shear 🪒 and are enjoying a shady nap, while Eddie the munches on some sticky weed/cleavers - the perfect afternoon snack! 🌱😋

Millie and Poppy enjoying a chilled KONG as ambient temperatures reach 18°C! 😳☀️ While that’s a comfortable temperature for us, remember that senior dogs and brachycephalic breeds can overheat at lower temperatures than you might think 🥵. Chilled kongs, frozen peas in the water bowl, and cooling jackets/bandanas are some of my personal favourite ways of keeping my dogs cool and comfortable in the summer heat 🐶😌
