You can share ✅
Plain cooked meats, filleted fish, carrots, sweet potatoes, courgettes, mushrooms, peppers, broccoli, watermelon, blueberries and strawberries.

Be sure to avoid ❌
Cooked bones, meat seasoned with excess salt or onions/garlic powders, corn on the cob, skewered meats, onions, avocado, grapes and large amounts of bread (e.g. burger buns).

Cases are seen frequently in unvaccinated cats due to the virus being spread by direct or indirect contact with infected cats, which means your cat can catch it from an area an infected cat has explored.

The best way to protect your pet is by vaccinating them every year. This not only protects them, but also decreases the spread of disease. Check with your vet today if your cat’s vaccinations are up to date.

We have had a cat brought into us this lunchtime, a smaller entire male cat, pale ginger, from the Landrake area, no microchip, and is currently receiving treatment, but we need to speak to the owners urgently.
