Itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve said hello but it seems fitting as we enter the new year and as so many of the clients I have booked in are new, as well as my ever faithful returning ones.

My name is Flick and Iโ€™m a bird taxidermist, particularly fond of ducks although theyโ€™re not the easiest birds to work on I do love a challenge!

My husband is also a taxidermist, his area of expertise is mammals and weโ€™ve both learnt the trade from his dad, my father in law. It would be wonderful to pass our skills onto our son one day if he wishes, although heโ€™s only a toddler at present! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I really want to thank everyone who has let me unleash my artistic skills on their birds and Iโ€™m so grateful for every opportunity I get to bring these birds back to life in some form! โœจ I am so passionate about what I do, I hope this shines through in my work! ๐Ÿฅฐ

It was such a pleasure to do these pieces!
Theyโ€™re a little different to what I usually do as thereโ€™s no base or groundwork but the pieces of wood that my client provided were so lovely on their own and actually sentimental to her as her father found them on a beach and polished them up himself so I really didnโ€™t think anything needed adding to them!
Iโ€™m so pleased with the results! โ™ฅ๏ธ
