Harley aka Colquite Winnie the Pooh. This absolute tank of a dog was by far the biggest of the last litter but such a gentle kind soul. His owner has never trained a Gundog before but just for fun decided to have a go with this handsome chap. Now at nearly two years old he’s doing so well and had his first days picking up last season, he was calm, well mannered and a keen hunter and is a real credit to his dad.

Happy Monday everyone. I cant believe we only have 4 weeks left to go before these little beauties go off to their new homes, it’s going so fast 😢

We have had someone who’s had to drop out for a male puppy due to unforeseen circumstances so if you know of anyone who is looking for a well bred fox red puppy please do get in touch. MP and mamma Chip having a bit of playtime in the garden. Chip is more than happy to leave the pups now, she’s doing such a brilliant job with them and it’s been quite interesting to see how she’s been allot more competent and thorough with her second litter. Apologies to anyone who tried to contact me in the past week, but I’m a firm believer in completely switching off from anything work related when I’m taking a break, I like to be as off grid as I can, no social media, no thinking about work and as much as possible focusing entirely on the present moment.

It’s been a strange few years, with lots of change and upheaval for everyone but I feel this week has been incredibly restorative for me personally and maybe even a teensy bit life changing.

I’ve made so many new friends, human and animal, I’ve seen some beautiful places and more importantly met some beautiful souls who have helped throw a new perspective on life and have helped me see things with new clarity.

Anyway it’s back to reality today, I’ve got some catching up to do, but please get in touch again if I’ve missed anyone out, I’m feeling fully refreshed and ready to give you all my best again ❤️🥳😁🍍⛵️🏝

Good friends are a bit like cushions. Comfortable to relax with, supportive when you need them most, and often right by your side, even if you don’t always notice them.

I’ve been thinking about this girl a lot today, I’ve planted a whole bunch of spring bulbs on her grave. It’s kind of nice because every time I walk the dogs round the paddock we go right past her, so she’s never really alone. It still feels horribly strange to think I’ll not see her lovely old face again though 😓
