☀️Heat wave ☀️
Please keep your pets safe during this Heatwave. The salon will remain open due to being equipped with air conditioning and kept at a cool temperature however we please insist all dogs visiting to be transported in Air-conditioned vehicles and not walked in this heat. Any dogs who arrive showing signs of heatstroke will be refused grooming services.
If we feel the risk is too high for dogs the Salon may be closed as a precaution if temperatures get too high.
Here are some tips to help keep your pets safe during the heatwave:
* 💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
* 🏠 Keep dogs indoors during the hottest part of the day.
* 🚶 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are lower.
* 🧊 Offer cooling mats, damp towels, or frozen treats to help them stay comfortable.
* 🐾 Check pavements before walks—if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for paws.
* 🚗 Never leave a dog in a parked car, even for a few minutes.
Watch for signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice these symptoms, move your dog to a cool place and contact your vet immediately.
