IMPORTANT CUSTOMER ANNOUCEMENT‼️‼️
Canine Central will be closing its doors July 2022.
A note from Lizzie -
This picture is from 8 years ago today – when we opened our doors for the first time. Aged just 22, newly married and freshly out of university; I was given the opportunity to open the salon when I didn't have any customers lined up! It was an exciting and testing time, and I loved every second of it! A massive thank you to all who helped me during this time; Ian, Gill (mum), Claire, Gina, Megan, our landlord and my wonderful husband Jason. Ellie also came to me as a work experience during her college course back in 2014! Most of all I give the success of the business to God.
However, it is time to close the salon and look to the future. I now have 2 young children (who are growing up very fast!!) and am involved with some exciting church and charity work, which I am looking to devote more time and emotional capacity to. One charity is to support people setting up small businesses in developing countries in order to spread wealth and employment in some of the most deprived and remote areas of the world.
I am very pleased that all this coincides with the girls having other opportunities too. Ellie and Lucy, and more recently Sofia, have been an important part of Canine Central and I am proud that Canine Central was their training ground. I wish them all the best in their new ventures.
Lastly of course, I want to thank all our customers - 2 legged and 4. Saying goodbye to you all is the hardest part. We have seen puppies in 2014 become veterans, shed tears for the ones we've lost and made some genuine friendships over the years. I have always felt so supported by you all and am so thankful for you. Please give our special pooches another cuddle from us 🐶🐾
