Well it didn't take long for Allison to decide we need a new edition to the Claytonmoor pack! She is determined to get hold of a Geep - a goat/sheep hybrid. Honest to god, I am genuinely worried I will get a call from the other room, "Paul... now don't be angry but..."

Sorry kid, the answer is NO! Despite how they look.

Hello everybody.

We have spent a lot of time thinking about this, but we have decided that we won’t be having any more litters.

We are aware that some of you were mentioning when the next litter would be and we felt it best to make the decision now. We are sorry of this comes as a disappointment to some of you but it is the right thing for us.

It has been coming for a while to be honest, neither of us are getting any younger – Paul especially creaks like a door in a horror film when he gets up these days. It is such a ‘full-on’ experience having a litter with so much worry, responsibility and pressure 24/7 and beyond, whilst having the rest of the pack too. Ella has ongoing health issues as some of you know, (although she is doing well at the moment) and both of us with full time jobs. Losing our beloved Minnie so young was a devastating blow for us as a family and pack and we are still feeling her loss. The reality was that something had to give and this was the most sensible choice.

We have loved every single one of our little ones, all of them. (Even Hettie!) Honestly. Saying goodbye, even though it was for the best reason, just got harder and harder. We hope you know that they were all given the very best start we could give them and have been so honoured to have been able to watch them grow and become such integral parts of all your families. We loved meeting every one of you and watching the joy each one of them brought when you met. Such a privilege. We have had experiences that some people will never have, and we will cherish those memories – including, hourly hand feeds all day and night for a couple of the little ones and being peed on by each and every one of the little monsters!. Thinking about holding each of them at less than an hour old and watching Mum meet them for the first time still makes us cry and always will.

We are so proud of all our girls, Mabel, Minnie, Martha and Molly and the healthy, happy and independent little ones they brought into the world.

We won’t close this page down, because despite this decision, we would still like to be a small part of all of their continued journeys through life, with all the ups and downs, as it brings us great happiness. You are all part of the Claytonmoor family and we hope this can continue to be the case for many years.

With love and best wishes.
Allison, Ella, Duke, Dave, Mabel, Frank, Molly, Martha, Betty, Hettie and bottom of the pack, Paul.

In Memorium: Bob the Bullmastiff and Minnie.

Well it is a massive day for Claytonmoor and 6 of our special editions!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to Bitz, Dolly, Lucy, Romeo, Xara and our Hettie - by the way, you dodged a bullet with us keeping her, she is bonkers!

We couldn't be happier seeing the photo's throughout the year and watching them all grow to happy, healthy and much loved Frenchies. They are all an absolute credit to you! Here's to many many more celebrations. With love from Allison, Paul and Martha. ###

Martha will be furious we posted this pic of her just after getting out of the bath, but she is fed up because she wanted to stay in. The other was when they were all a few days old and asleep in the box, she was soooo attentive.

Poor Martha won't be celebrating with her Daughter Hettie on her 1st Birthday on Sunday as she has been on very strict crate rest for the last 11 days with a disc problem in her back. Now I think she is enjoying being carried everywhere, but she has really perfected her 'sad' face. We have her pain under control and Vet is happy with the slow but sure progress. He mentioned Hydro-therapy as part of the physio approach, and as you can see here, lying with her foot in the water bowl, she can't wait to get started. Poor thing, had the fan right next to her blowing cold air and kept dunking her tootsies!

Ronnie doing his very best, "You know I belong on the couch! You can't leave me down here!" look. Well I couldn't resist which is why we haven't had a new couch in years... His chest is looking awesome on that shot. What a hunk.

Here is the gorgeous Wilma who always likes to sit with her paw on her Mum's arm/leg/face or wherever. You can see how impressed the main dude Marvin is about the situation. I bet you can guess how much Wilma cares about that!

Just FYI, Marvin was the cause of all of this! I met him xmas 2014 and fell for him straight away and we started 'collecting' them shortly afterwards. The second shot of the handsome devil is from June 2015. What a superstar!
