🚨 Bank holiday cuteness factor! 🚨

We had this adorable baby otter brought into us after a member of the public had watched it for a few hours with no parent returning 🥺
We have excellent contacts with a local wildlife hospital so after a night of rest, warmth and feeds from our amazing out of hours team, the wildlife hospital collected it to continue its journey back to the wild 🩵

Otters are fully protected under U.K law - providing veterinary treatment with the intent to release is an exemption and we are very honoured to be part of this little one’s recovery ❤️‍🩹

We wish this lovely little otter the best of luck! 🤞🏻

We would always recommend observing any wildlife before intervening, unless obviously injured or ill 👀

A heartwarming story for a Monday afternoon! 💛🦉

These two beautiful baby tawny owls were brought over to our hospital after being found on the floor, dehydrated and in shock. One of our nurses, Keely, cared for them for a few weeks until they were stronger and eating well by themselves. They were then transferred to an RSPCA wildlife hospital where they continue to do well and they are looking good for a successful release back to the wild.

We wish them the best of luck! 🍀

🚨 The subtle (but crucial signs) of an anxious dog

Spotting them can help you know when to stop and give your dog the space it is asking for. Giving them space can help to calm them down and prevent their behaviour escalating.

Dogs don’t usually jump straight to biting… they’ll communicate subtly first.

The canine ladder of aggression shows how dogs move through stages of stress, from early calming signals (like turning away or yawning) to more obvious warnings if they feel unheard.

By spotting the early signs, we can step in sooner, reduce fear, and keep everyone safe.

An AHC is an official document issued by a vet that
confirms your pet meets the health and vaccination
requirements for travel to certain countries.

✅️It includes details such as your pet’s microchip number
and rabies vaccination
✅️It’s completed and signed by an Official Veterinarian
✅️It’s usually issued shortly before you travel

🗓You’ll need to contact your vet in advance so an
appointment can be arranged within the required
