🌿 Help Us Build a Safe Outdoor Enclosure for Two Very Special APES Residents πŸ’

Here at APES we care for many incredible animals including primates, snakes, lizards, spiders, rabbits and other small rescued species who rely on us for safety and specialist care. Right now we urgently need to create a secure outdoor enclosure for two very special residents at our temporary premises.

Outdoor space is incredibly important for enrichment, wellbeing and natural behaviours. Sunshine, fresh air and a stimulating environment make a huge difference to the animals in our care. β˜€οΈπŸŒ±

Building this enclosure will allow them to explore, climb, relax and enjoy a more natural daily routine while we continue our work rescuing and protecting vulnerable animals.

πŸ’š This is where you can help.

Every donation, large or small, brings us closer to building the enclosure they deserve.

🚨 Important Update from APES 🚨

APES is entering a temporary closure period while we relocate and build improved enclosures for the animals in our care. This step is essential to create safer, stronger, and more suitable spaces for primates, snakes, lizards, spiders, rabbits, and other small animals that depend on us every day. πŸ’πŸπŸ¦ŽπŸ•·οΈπŸ‡

This transition is a major undertaking and we urgently need support to complete new enclosures as quickly as possible. Every donation helps us continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting vulnerable animals.

🚚 Big Move Update from APES πŸ’πŸπŸ•·οΈπŸ‡

From today, Monday 9 March 2026, until Saturday 21 March 2026, APES will be closed to the public while we complete our move to a temporary location.

Moving animals such as primates, snakes, lizards, spiders, rabbits, and other small animals safely takes careful planning and time. During this period our focus is making sure every animal is transported and settled safely.

If you need to contact us during this time, please use the contact pages on our websites or the help widget at the bottom of our websites for online communication.

We also have exciting news about our future permanent premises. Keep an eye out for our upcoming newsletter posts where we will be sharing more details about the move and what it means for the animals in our care. πŸ‘€
