Hello, I’m Gaynor. I’m delighted to introduce myself as the new owner of Quadrant Pet Supplies – a proudly independent store that’s been part of the St Albans community since 1982. 💛

As a fellow animal lover and long-time local, I know how much this shop means to so many of you. My aim is to keep everything you already love — the friendly faces, the expert advice, and the great range of high quality products — while also gently evolving the business to serve you (and your pets!) even better. 🐶🐾

Those of you who’ve been in already have noticed some of the small updates we’ve been making, mostly to make the store easier to shop.

Over the coming months, you’ll start to see a few thoughtful updates — all designed with your pets’ happiness and wellbeing in mind. I’m really excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more soon.

To all the fantastic customers of Quadrant Pet Supplies,

After 17 incredible years, the time has come for me to say goodbye to the pet shop and pursue a quieter way of life for David, myself and of course the dogs. 🐕 ♥️

It's hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me. I've had the privilege of working alongside dedicated and kind hearted staff and met many wonderful characters along the way.

I've been so grateful for the support from the people of St Albans and those further afield who have been so loyal to my little pet shop. The friendships and relationships I've formed with pet owners and of course their pets have shaped both my career and who I am.

As I turn the page, I’m looking forward to spending more time with loved ones pursuing passions that have waited patiently and embracing the slower moments that come with this next chapter.

All the wonderful staff are continuing at QPS under new leadership and I'm sure the same level of customer service will continue for many years to come.

If you get a moment tomorrow (Wednesday 4th June) to pop in and say goodbye please feel free to do so...if you can, bring the dogs for a final sausage 😁
