🔥🐾 Meet Blaze the Cockapoo Puppy who stole everyone’s hearts 💛

This gorgeous boy came into Hound Grooming Services for his first puppy groom and wow… he did SO well ✨ Such a calm, confident little pup who took everything in his stride.

From his relaxing bath 🫧 to his gentle blow dry and tidy up, Blaze handled it all like a pro 🐶💫

We have to say… he’s become very popular in the salon, and we all agree he’s giving us serious Waffle the Dog vibes 😍 (can you see the resemblance?)

Such an adorable puppy and an absolute pleasure to groom 💕

Millie came into the salon this week for her first puppy session with us and loved every single minute of being pampered 🫧✨ Such a sweet little girl who took it all in her stride and enjoyed all the attention 🐶

She arrived in style too – Millie loves being carried about, making her the definition of a truly pampered puppy 👑💗

And those beautiful long eyelashes… 😍 she really is a stunning little lady!

We can’t wait to see how she develops and grows that truly gorgeous silky coat 💕

Sweet little Rosie the Dandie Dinmont Terrier puppy came in for her very first puppy grooming session and completely stole our hearts 💛

Our puppy sessions are all about creating a positive, playful introduction to grooming, helping little ones feel safe and confident while they learn about the salon environment. Rosie was introduced to the sights, sounds and sensations of grooming at her own pace, with plenty of cuddles and encouragement along the way 🐾

We also introduced her to a small amount of Hand Stripping, starting the foundation for maintaining her coat as she grows.

The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is such a special breed and not one we see very often, so we’re incredibly excited to watch Rosie grow and transition from puppy fluff to her beautiful adult breed standard look ✂️

She was the sweetest little girl and an absolute joy to work with. We can’t wait to continue working with Rosie and her lovely parents as we develop her look over the coming months.

🐾 Charlie the West Highland Terrier 🐾

Charlie popped back into Hound Grooming Services for his Full Groom. When Charlie first came to us, he had some matting, so we’re currently growing his coat carefully toward a specific design, keeping everything comfortable, tidy and manageable along the way.
His parents preferred Charlie with longer ear hair, rather than the traditional tipped ears, which really suits him and gives him a softer expression. He also wears practical, manageable feathers and furnishings - perfect for everyday life while still keeping that classic Westie look.

A lovely breed detail we always appreciate: The hair that naturally sits forward in front of a Westie’s eyes was originally developed to help protect their eyes from brambles and rough undergrowth when they were working terriers. Functional and charming 🐶

We love seeing returning clients like Charlie and working together with owners to achieve the look they want over time 🤍

We managed to get so much fluff out of his coat, give him a Tidy Trim, Nail Trim and sent him home Looking, Feeling and Smelling AMAZING 😍

Hound Grooming Services welcomed the gorgeous Betsy and her son Bertie 💕

This French Bulldog duo was full of personality and was so well behaved throughout their visit 👏

✨ French Bulldog Facts:

• French Bulldogs were developed in the 1800’s as companion dogs and are known for forming very strong bonds with their owners.
• They have a short, smooth coat that’s relatively low-shedding, but still benefits from regular grooming to keep skin healthy.
• Frenchie’s are a Brachycephalic breed (short-nosed), which means they can be sensitive to heat and need extra care in warm weather.
• Their distinctive “Bat Ears” are a defining breed feature and usually stand upright naturally as they mature.

Betsy and Bertie were a joy to have in the salon and brought plenty of charm with them 🛁✂️

🐾 Meet Margot the Miniature Schnauzer 🐾

Margot has visited us at Hound Grooming Services a few times now and she has completely stolen our hearts 💕 This young Miniature Schnauzer is an absolute pleasure to groom - calm, easy to handle and quite possibly one of the sweetest dogs we’ve had in the salon.

Miniature Schnauzers are well known for their iconic bushy, sharp eyebrows and adorable beard, which give them that expressive, wise little face - and Margot wears hers beautifully! ✂️✨ They’re also famous for their striking coat colours, often salt &
pepper, black or black and silver and regular grooming helps keep those colours crisp and their coats healthy.

Margot was a superstar throughout her grooming session and left looking fresh, tidy and very proud of herself 🐶💖
We can’t wait to welcome this gorgeous girl back again soon!
