House sitting for Zorro back in January for 10 days was awesome. We had lots of cuddles, lots of play and lots of fun walks ✨️
I already knew he had a great personality after a few years of regular walks, but it was so nice to spend time with him in his house and really see his character come through.
He can be reactive towards other dogs out on walks and sometimes in the home, but it's something im experienced in managing and he's gotten so much better with the weekly training im doing with him.

Everyone meet Oakley, he's a four (almost five!) year old cockapoo that I started walking in January. He's such a lovely boy and yes he's somehow even softer than he looks - he wanted you to get a proper look so the photos get progressively closer to his adorable snoot...you're welcome. I've also included a few of him in his raincoat, courtesy of the wettest Jan I've ever had to walk in. DO NOT SCROLL PAST this one, trust me!! Definitely made walking the rain a hell of a lot more bearable 😊

These two cuties are Leo and his little big sister Luna - a five y/o golden doodle and eleven y/o cockapoo. They are just the sweetest and good natured dogs I've met. We hit it off instantly (see videos for me getting smothered by them both), and even managed to have some fun out in the rain. It was a bit of a mission drying Leo afterwards though! Luna is definitely in charge and will muscle her way in front of her giant little brother for cuddles, and will steal his treats if he's not fast enough. She's very affectionate and all she wants after a long walk is to sit in your lap and get cuddled. Leo also thinks he can fit in your lap, and we'll continue to let him think that. He's such a gentle giant, watching him run brings me great joy as it's more of a bound than a run, and he eats so politely too. I think he thinks he's a regular size dog - he even jumped in my van expecting to ride in the bigger crate, but I somehow don't think that will be possible and I may have to make some adjustments for him...

It's two for one on Moonwalks pups today! This is Buddy (pictured first) and his brother Goldie, 3 and 5 year old cockapoos. They have the same mum, which is obviously where they get their good looks from, but they each have their own little personality. They're a s***ky pair with lots to tell me every time I walk through the door, and want to get where they're going fast in case all the good smells run out. I'm just along for the ride!

This is Raja, she's a 6 y/o teddy bear, I mean cockapoo. She joined me on a few walks last month while staying with her friends. She's a lovely affectionate and happy dog, who was more than ok with me coming and taking her out to play fetch and get in some good sniffs while her temporary guardian was at work. She's gorgeous and she knows it, I mean look at that perfectly pink nose!!!

Hello there, this sweet boy is Obi. He's a 1 year old lab I looked after in his house for a few days back in June. He's got two modes: on or off, no in between! He loves cuddles, but equally loves zoomies. We had a great time going out on walks and playing lots of enriching games like hide and seek, which he got pretty good at after a few goes! We also did lots of drops and swaps with two balls to reinforce the drop cue and he did so well with that once he realised I wasn't going to steal his prized possession and he was going to get it right back again if he gave it to me. Sniffing activities are so great to tire out pups as they really have to use their brain, which is why he ended up in so many hilarious sleeping positions over the weekend!

Everyone meet Lilly, a 7y/o Beagle x Basset hound. She has a lot to say and will not say it quietly (scroll for videos of said shouting). She's pretty fast too given she's three times as long as she is tall. While Paddy is definitely a back of the pack sniffer, she goes right on ahead to make sure we're going the right way and sniff out all the good smells while we catch up. She's got s***k, sass, and serious charm, welcome to the pack Lil ✨

This extremely photogenic chap is Paddy the border terrier. He's the third of his breed to be added to the Moonwalks gang and I must say he's also the chillest. At five years old he's well and truly through his puppy phase and is quite happy to take things at a much more leisurely pace. His favourite thing to do on walks is sniff, so not so much a walk, rather a stroll while he takes in all the smells. He's super friendly and would love some friends to join him on group walks!

Last week was spent having daily visits with Rodney ✨ I started looking after him in summer 2023 (cover photo is a cute one from last summer) - scroll to the end to see baby bunny pictures, he's grown a fair bit since then! He's got such a lovely temperament, really affectionate and chilled, but will do binkies and zoomies around the garden whenever he comes out to make up for it. He even gives me little kisses when he's really happy, and loves nothing more than a good snack and massage after his run around.
Our daily visits consist of a clean out of any mess, fresh hay, treats, food and water and sometimes a few veggie snacks too. Then I let him out for a good run around followed by some cuddles.

Please note: the garden is totally secure with all small spaces blocked off so he can't escape or get stuck, and I always keep a close eye on him whenever he's out.

Link has definitely gotten bigger over the last 9 months of walking/training. He's also gotten a lot better with training too - we tried off lead for a bit this week (after making sure no other people/dogs were around as he gets nervous around them) and he did really well with recall and eye contact. He's getting there around dogs, we have to keep our distance for now, but his overall confidence out on walks has already improved massively. We always try to keep walks calm for him, with lots of sniffing games to relax but also stimulate his brain. It's always surprising how much using their nose will tire them out, much more than chasing a ball around too so if you've got a hyper dog that needs chilling out, scatter feeding or hide and seek is a great one to try.
I'm sure we'll continue to see progress with him this year ✨
