Everyone meet Lilly, a 7y/o Beagle x Basset hound. She has a lot to say and will not say it quietly (scroll for videos of said shouting). She's pretty fast too given she's three times as long as she is tall. While Paddy is definitely a back of the pack sniffer, she goes right on ahead to make sure we're going the right way and sniff out all the good smells while we catch up. She's got s***k, sass, and serious charm, welcome to the pack Lil ✨

This extremely photogenic chap is Paddy the border terrier. He's the third of his breed to be added to the Moonwalks gang and I must say he's also the chillest. At five years old he's well and truly through his puppy phase and is quite happy to take things at a much more leisurely pace. His favourite thing to do on walks is sniff, so not so much a walk, rather a stroll while he takes in all the smells. He's super friendly and would love some friends to join him on group walks!

Last week was spent having daily visits with Rodney ✨ I started looking after him in summer 2023 (cover photo is a cute one from last summer) - scroll to the end to see baby bunny pictures, he's grown a fair bit since then! He's got such a lovely temperament, really affectionate and chilled, but will do binkies and zoomies around the garden whenever he comes out to make up for it. He even gives me little kisses when he's really happy, and loves nothing more than a good snack and massage after his run around.
Our daily visits consist of a clean out of any mess, fresh hay, treats, food and water and sometimes a few veggie snacks too. Then I let him out for a good run around followed by some cuddles.

Please note: the garden is totally secure with all small spaces blocked off so he can't escape or get stuck, and I always keep a close eye on him whenever he's out.

I cater for all forms of furry, feathered or scaled friends so email for enquiries [email protected]

Link has definitely gotten bigger over the last 9 months of walking/training. He's also gotten a lot better with training too - we tried off lead for a bit this week (after making sure no other people/dogs were around as he gets nervous around them) and he did really well with recall and eye contact. He's getting there around dogs, we have to keep our distance for now, but his overall confidence out on walks has already improved massively. We always try to keep walks calm for him, with lots of sniffing games to relax but also stimulate his brain. It's always surprising how much using their nose will tire them out, much more than chasing a ball around too so if you've got a hyper dog that needs chilling out, scatter feeding or hide and seek is a great one to try.
I'm sure we'll continue to see progress with him this year ✨

This absolute stunner is my daughter Nala 🤍 she's obviously got the looks, but she's got the personality too...maybe too much.
The first few photos are her modelling shots, the next few are her favourite nap spots, and the last few are when she's gotten a little too comfortable and unleashed the weird.

She wanted to introduce herself formally (after complaining to me that she's the most important animal and yet hasn't featured on this page yet). "Hi I'm Nala, I love cuddles and sleeping, but I'm also an outdoor girly and enjoy going on walks and lounging in the sun. My favourite things are getting in or rolling on my humans' clothes when they're in the shower, stealing their water instead of my own, wrestling, chasing the hose in the summer and eating their plants. Once I get to know you, I will spam you with weird selfies and expose you to my weirdest and most unhinged self"

I do offer pet sitting which includes all furry, feathered or scaly friends, not just dogs! For enquiries email [email protected]

Another Moonwalks ted talk - some of my dog walking essentials. Treats, a good harness, poo bags (duh), water, first aid kit, long line, and a bag to put it all in!
It sounds like a lot, but once you've got your designated dog walking bag with all the essentials, you won't forget anything ever again! Just make sure you replace the poo bags when you run out...

(Jan 2025) Cookie is back! We've had some time apart since summer last year, but she's back and fluffier than ever 🥰 we've gone back to basics for now while she gets back into the groove, but she's doing really well already. This bouncy pup struggles to stay still, so we've been conditioning a stay (vid. 2) as well as loose lead & recall (vid 1 & 3). She also gets nervous sometimes, especially when she can hear lorries on the next road along or sees people going in and out of their houses, so I do scatter feeding in quiet areas to reset her nervous system a bit by letting her use her nose to seek out the treats. Sniffing is a very relaxing activity for all dogs, and a great way to use their brains too - try it out with your pups if they're anxious, or just need a break to calm down out on walks. You can up the difficulty by increasing the distance between treats, and even hiding them for an extra challenge!

(Jan 2025) Zorro in his happy place out in the countryside ✨ He has to wear a muzzle in his hometown, so we do a mix of local walks and nature walks, working on different aspects of training in both areas. He didn't like the muzzle at first, but time and patience (and treats!) paid off and now he's happy to wear it - I never force it on him, he chooses to let me put it on.
He's getting on really well with recall training, and I've been using two balls to practice the "drop" cue, which is really improving. He's still sometimes reactive towards other dogs, but we're implementing training techniques to work on that, and it's going well!

He's such a sweet and loving boy and I always look forward to seeing him, almost as much as he's excited to see me when I arrive!

(November 2024) On Saturday I had my last walk with Daisy, who's soon moving away to Oxford with her human for a new adventure and to be closer to family. We've had a wonderful time together and walked in all weather these past 18 months. I'm going to miss her derpy faces and happy go lucky personality. She's been a joy to have as one of the original Moonwalks dogs, and I hope she has the best life ever in her new home. I'll miss you little Daisy doo ✨🤍

(August 2024) This lovely boy is George the springer spaniel who joined me and Daisy for walks in July while he was staying with Daisy's mum. His puppy dog eyes and fabulous hair may lead to believe he's a young lad, but he's actually 11 years old! Still as sprightly as ever, he's the most happy go lucky dog I've ever met. He's quite happy to wander ahead of you sniffing around, but always comes back when called, and so chilled with other dogs too. He absolutely loves cuddles, and will request them at every opportunity by basically forcing himself on you but in the gentlest way. No matter how hard I tried, taking a picture of George and Daisy together was absolute chaos that resulted in some pretty funny faces and posing. He was an absolute pleasure to walk, and I already miss him! Hopefully he'll join us again sometime :)

(April 2024) This gorgeous snoot belongs to Link the whippet, who's puppy dog eyes can and will melt your insides. He's 7 months old and exceedingly bouncy and excitable. I've been visiting him once a week in the mornings for a nice play session, and a training walk in the afternoon where we stretch out those long legs and use games to work on recall, sit/stay etc. He's a credit to his breed, such a lovely temperament and oh so handsome. Looking forward to seeing how he'll progress in our coming sessions.
