Group one of our team leaders in the East Sussex/Kent area Maria Walker, and her daughter Charlotte has kindly offered to do a sponsored walk to the summit of Mount Snowdon for the benefit of us here at Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK This is no mean task with it being the highest mountain in wales, please see details below.
Mount Snowdon, known in Welsh as Yr Wyddfa, is the highest mountain in Wales, standing at 1,085 meters (3,560 feet). It's located in Snowdonia National Park in North Wales and is a popular destination for hikers, climbers, and tourists. While the name "Mount Snowdon" is sometimes used, it's more commonly referred to simply as Snowdon or Yr Wyddfa locally.
I’m sure Maria, won’t mind me mentioning this but she has recently been on a massive weight loss program and is taking on this challenge to celebrate her achievement in her weight loss.
