There’s those that understand how to use a cave properly

It’s been a long timing coming, we have finally completed the new axolotl set up with all of the axies moved in!!!

It’s been over a year in the making but the hard work has finally paid off!

Please note that more hides are on their way, we will soon have at least 2 large hides per tank

Stage 2 for the new set up:

It’s been a while since we last posted but this picture shows stage two of our new axolotl set up. We added large MDF back boards to the racking to help it look tidy as well as adding some extra strength. We then used some foam sheets on top of the shelves in order to prevent the tanks from cracking. If your tank does not come with its own base this is always a good idea!

Please note as mentioned in our previous post, we currently have no axolotls looking for new homes. We are taking a temporary break from breeding whilst we get settled into the new house as well as planning a wedding for this summer. We hope to begin breeding again at some point in the summer of 2022!

Exciting things coming soon!!!

We have been rather inactive for a while due to our recent house move. Things are going well and our axolotl room is nearing completion!

After decorating, Stage 1 was to build and install our new heavy duty racking. Stay tuned to see the setup develop!

We are aware that we have a few unanswered messages to respond to, unfortunately we have just not had the time to respond as efficiently as usual. We do not currently have any axolotls available for rehoming, and will not for the near future whilst we get the axolotls moved in and acclimatised to their new habitats.

If you are in need of urgent help, we suggest you try posting in the group “axolotl keepers & breeders uk”

We will be doing one final delivery route on Saturday the 15th May . Once this run is complete we will be taking a temporary break from breeding and rescuing in order to get settled into our new house.

We are now down to just 2 copper-leucistics and 3 black mels looking for forever homes. If you live in or near the red bubbble and would like to offer one of these axies new waters, please do get in touch!

All deliveries will be socially distanced.

Just a quick post to apologise for any delay in responding to our messages, work has been extremely busy for us both the past few weeks. Please rest assured we will get back to you ASAP and if you are expecting a delivery we will be going ahead and will let you know plans by the end of the day.
Thank you for your patience,
Ellie & Dan
