Tonight, we were thankfully finally able to rescue this beautiful girl, after she cheated death soooooo many times.
Thank you Bindi’s Lost & Found for bringing your marvellous rescue team to help.
Brooke is painfully skinny, has cuts & bruises, and leg injuries causing her to limp.
However, this little survivor escaped the slaughter truck, being entangled in a thicket when it arrived. Endured trotting 2.5 miles over a railway line & motorway bridge looking for safety. And narrowly escaped freezing to death or drowning, trapped in a filthy d**e ditch (where she’d likely desperately sought a drink 😥).
She will now live out her retirement days in the expert care of our beautiful friends Karen & Molly 💖.

Late night rescue tonight of this beautiful lady, who’d got entangled in lethal string netting on an old, disused building… and had been dangling for at least half a day, before we arrived 😥.
HUGE thank you to the fire department, who blew us away with how remarkably they flew into action to save this little life.
Special thanks also to our friends at Bella’s legacy for their ladders, and to Megan for refusing to give up until she found somebody to help 🙏.
