🐾 Royal Kennel Club GCDS Puppy Foundation Graduates! 🎓

Huge congratulations to our wonderful Puppy Foundation class on graduating last night!

This has been such a lovely group to teach. The progress every single one of you has made over the weeks has been fantastic to watch. We’ve seen lovely calm handling from owners and the pups have really grown in confidence. You should all be so proud of the solid foundations you've built together 🙌🏻

We can’t wait to welcome you all back to start working toward your Bronze award!

Happy Wednesday!

Our evening Puppy Classes begin again on 9th June 2026 at Slitting Mill Victory Hall, Rugeley. Puppies & owners of any fitness level or disability can take part.

This 8-week course lays the foundations for early learning and assists new puppy owners in understanding basic training techniques. Enrolment can take place from 8 weeks of age & up to 12 months of age. This award level is assessed by one of our instructors across the weeks & each puppy will receive a certificate and rosette upon successful completion. Puppies can then progress onto the Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme Bronze, Silver & Gold awards if owners are interested in continuing with us 🤞

The Gentleshaw & Cannock Wood Summer Fete is back!

This year:
A historic Battle of Britain flyover (fingers crossed for the weather) and a fabulous Fun Dog Show ran by Country Canines. Plus lots of exciting activities for all the family.

Special Under-11s dog handling class (everyone gets a prize!!)🏆

Come & raise money to support our local Village Hall.

Bring the dog and the kids & let’s hope for blue skies 🙌🏻
