Barry is a lead puller, he makes awful choking noises when he pulls, even in his harness, due to the pressure put on his chest and neck. When pullling dogs throw their weight forward changing their natural gait, affecting their balance and creating tension through out their body, causing discomfort
Then guess what they do when they are uncomfortable… they become stressed and bark and lunge and pull even more!
Relaxed loose lead training is a must for dogs like Barry ❤️ it takes consistency, commitment and patience but its always possible 😊

Our dogs noses are so incredibly powerful, they explore their world through scent and can find out valuable information about other dogs and animals and all sorts of things when they stop to sniff
Often we try to hurry them on, but our dogs walks should be the time where they get to explore and enjoy the outdoors and be themselves 💕
