🌟YARD PERSON REQUIRED@ Tom Ellis Racing🌟

We are looking for a reliable person to help out in the yard. No riding required.

All normal yard duties, mucking out, putting horses on and off the walker ect... We have all straw beds. Previous experience is necessary.

We have 70 horses so you must be able to work quickly and efficiently. Sometimes on your own and as a team.

As many days as possible but a Saturday is a requirement. Hours can also be negotiated.

Our normal start time is 6.30am but could suit someone who could start after the school run. We finish at 1 -1.30pm

Wage according to age and experience.

Very sadly we lost Koyote after finishing 4th in the conditions race. She had won 4 races for us last season. Our condolences go to her owners the marriage and Signy families and all the team at home who looked after her so well.

Heath Barn is a modern Point-to-Point horse training yard which is situated just outside Marton in Warwickshire. Horses are trained by Foran Equine Champion Point-to-Point trainer Tom Ellis (a former Point-to-Point jockey), and ridden by his wife, six time National Point-to-Point Champion Gina Andrews.

After a very successful 2018/19 season - which also included two winners at the Cheltenham Hunter Chase meeting - the duo are currently overseeing an expansion of their facilities ahead of the new season, and expect to have around 40 horses in training.

If owning a horse is something which appeals then there are a number of different ways to get involved. That could be as a sole owner, in a partnership with a group of friends or as part of our Ice and a Slice Racing Club. Please speak to Tom (07793 988277) or Gina (07786 094186) for more details.
