The availability of polo is not as far out of reach as you may think, we pride ourselves in making the sport as accessible and enjoyable as possible for all. With polo becoming ever more popular as a sport and an accessible past time for all, Rugby Polo Club has become a popular location for recreational and professional polo where we cater for all levels of riders from no experience to the advanc

ed player. We have three full size grounds, a teaching ground in the summer as well as indoor and outdoor all-weather arenas for the winter season. Polo lessons start at £45 and target all levels and abilities. For further information contact Alex at [email protected].

Mike Hobday

It is very sad to hear that Mike Hobday has passed away. For those of you who didn’t know Mike he was very much a part of the early days of Polo at Rugby. Mike was responsible for encouraging me to start the Polo Club at Rugby and helped tremendously in the very early days. He also played a lot back in the day with me and David. Mike then went on to run Universities polo and was responsible for its largest period of expansion.

If anyone would like to celebrate Mikes life on Monday the 23rd. 3pm for drinks at Cirencester rugby club.
