Mark your calendars! Wakefield, September 7th 😊 Cassy Coldwell-Hill and Lily-Rose Barnes are two of the biggest advocates for animal welfare I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

🎉FUNDRAISING EVENT 🎉

We are holding our very first fundraising event!! We would absolutely LOVE if you would spend the day with us! 💚

There will be reptile educational talks available at ❗️10am and 1pm❗️ with the amazing Loulabelle’s Jungle, you will then get the opportunity to meet and handle a selection of animals!

This fundraiser has the opportunity to be great fun! We have an ongoing raffle to take part in, a tombola, games to play, sweet treats and handmade crafts and gifts to buy! Be sure to pop down!

All of your support means the world to us, and every little helps! This is to raise money for our rescue and ongoing veterinary expenses!

💙 Compassionate, evidence-based education is a core mission of the Charity, and we want to do more of that this year (watch this space!)

🪶 We adore our bird family members, AND (bare with us...) we do wish that birds had never been domesticated. A chat for another thread, but one factor is that their natural environment (and encouraging the full range of their natural behaviours) is tremendously difficult in the homes that a great many of us have.

🔹 So, while we *do* have bird family members, our aim is to support human parronts with reliable, credible, easy-to-access information on how to provide the very best care and environment possible - it's not about perfect, it's about doing better when we know better.

🙌🏻 We've created some FREE budgie care guides and PBFD info sheets, informed by the superb Fife Exotic Vets, Biobest Laboratories Ltd and Gaby Schulemann-Maier of Birds-Online.de

Our gorgeous Pickle, gone too soon, but captured forever in our hearts AND now this stunning painting.

A coincidence that she is painted on colours matching our logo (also, 🏳️‍⚧️ ), we saw this at on her stall and HAD to buy it (not with Charity funds, if I'm not spending my own money on the birds, I'm spending it on bird-related things 😅)
