A Very busy couple of weeks with new stock sold to their new homes . Along with a good few shows done and breakers having a couple of productive weeks 🙂

We have also been busy with the tiny tots 🩷😍

Also a huge Thankyou to Gerda for her amazing saddle fitting service over the last couple of weeks !!

I have come across so many saddle fitters that push for a new saddle and not the right fit … yet I have to say Gerda was so literal and has a number of different brands new and second hand !!

Mimosa Van Overis🩷🩷🩷🩷

Quick trip out today to Willow Banks EC for the first time , & what a lovely place to go 😁 it was a day out for Mimosa today Jumping a DC in the 115 & 120 . We have a lot of love for this Super Easy , Talented Mare 🩷 Mimosa is available to view . She has been fantastically produced from the off making her a very easy versatile horse. She has jumped up to 130 competitively as well as having had placing in second round qualifiers going all 3 rounds missing out by one last year . She would be a perfect child coming off ponies horse for junior Classes , She would be an outstanding amateurs winner , But would also make a fantastic professionals horse .

"How do you warm up your horses in the warm up ring?"

Every horse is different so I adjust my plan to suit each horse’s needs. We have a routine where I get on when I am sixteen horses out, and start jumping when I am eight out. We start the jumps out small in height, and don’t raise the jumps to be big at all– The practice ring is about staying relaxed and warming up the muscles, not about testing scope. Problems in the ring stem from the practice ring, whether it be that the horse isn’t relaxed or is over-jumping, so having a solid warm-up is key to doing well in competition.
