Sorry, I haven’t been on our page a lot recently, all year mostly. I have had lots of things going on. Although I have not been updating the page I have had a little of 3 beautiful kits. These are now available to reserve and they are looking for their homes. I will update the page with their photos very soon. Unfortunately, This will be my last year breeding as I just haven’t got the time for my ferrets anymore and if I have not got the time it’s unfair to breed another little next year. I will be looking for homes for my adult ferrets too which is extreenly difficult to do. They shall be posted once I have spoken to relevant people in regards to rehoming etc. There are a few people I will message personally who I would like to offer my adults too so please bare with me. If you are interested in any of the above, get in touch. Xx

Madge has blessed us with 3 Gorgeous Kits. 2 Boys 1 Girl. Kits are Part Angora Babies. Their father being Karismas Kartier, our German import of 2020.

Unfortunately Madge had given birth to infact 8 Kits but did not take to motherhood quickly this year and I was left with hand rearing most night around the clock, Madge then did start to feed her babies and all was looking well, unfortunately this did not last and 5 did not make it.

Marthur, She has unfortunately had a Phantom Pregnancy. She is being well cared for still in her nesting cage and is slowely coming back into season. I am yet to decide whether to pair her again to Derick but I will keep you all updated.

𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐀 𝐋𝐘𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐊𝐈𝐓?

As usual, anyone interested in homing a part Angora Lyttles kit this year will be subject to completing a questionaire, this is to make sure my kits are only going to the best homes possible. Please get in touch sooner rather than later as this year I potentially only have three kits. I take deposits from 4 weeks old only and you are then able to reserve your kit. Please pm me any questions and I will be happy to answer them for you!

𝐇𝐈 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄! 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄!

I have decided to do a repeat pairing from last year between Marthur X Derick. I will also be doing a pairing between our Madge and ‘Karismas Kartier’ Our German Part angora German import 🇩🇪From marthur we shall expect some beautiful Angora & Angora carriers and then from Madge and Kartier we shall expect some part Angora babies and possibly some Angora Carriers! I can’t promise there shall be Full angoras from Madge x Kartier as this will be a pairing that should give me some indication wether kartier is a carrier or the gene or not. Kits will be Part angora due to their Geniology and anything more , we will see 😆. Our first pairing will take place in the next couple of days.

Look at Kartier as a Kit! 💙🇩🇪 Kartier was imported from Germany by an amazing breeder, I am slightly late with posting my planned pairings this year due to moving house including the ferretry to a new location which is stressful! and getting everything sorted but they will be out in a couple of weeks and kartier will be being included in this years planned pairings , producing part angoras and possibly Carriers. I am only having two litters this year, maybe only 1 I am not sure. This year didn’t go an planned and I had hoped to import some really fantastic pedigrees but just wasn’t the right year. Possibly a repeat pairing from last year only if I have enough interest but definitely kartier will be being paired.

Please Think before leaving a nasty Review.

The Story:

I had homed a kit to you, did all my usual checks and bought the kit to you myself. Such a lovely home and was beyond happy. You signed a contract and received a copy. A few months down the line, you contact me telling me the kit isn’t getting along with your other ferrets. I kept in close contact with you and I gave you the best advice I could give you. Still wasn’t getting any better. I offered you this. I said to you I am more than happy to have your kit back with me for a few weeks/ months while I try and Introduce him to my ferrets in hope he will learn to behave and learn to get along with other ferrets. I said to you in the meantime, have a think wether you would like him back, want me to rehome him following my usual new contract and home check etc or wether you want me to keep him at my ferretry. I also offered you the choice of keep having him back and forth to keep trying to reintroduce him to your group in hope that after time he will behave with them. I took him to mine and had him for several weeks free of charge, I paid for all his food (complete minces) and toys etc. I I did say to you that even though he was in my care, the ferret still remains solely your ferret! You have the final say on what happens. I was just essentially minding him for a while for you. I was doing this as it’s my job to help you if you have had a kit from me and I will always offer my support and ferretry when needed and it is never any trouble for me at all. I contacted you many times letting you know how he was doing and After several weeks you contact me saying “I have had a think and it’s best you keep him” I was more than happy to do so and told you that I will keep him at my ferretry as he has really settled in well and to rehome him again wouldn’t be fair at all. I got another message from you days later “I appreciate what you have done, I understand I won’t get my deposit back but can I have a refund for the ferret” I kindly sent you a message back explaining why you wouldn’t receive your money back and why that is quite rude to ask, especially when I have gone to every effort I could to help you and looked after him for many weeks and also out of my own pocket paid for his kibble , toys and raw diet which isn’t cheap. I also explained that you did own him for many months before I took him into my care and that in the contract is states that only if there is something genetically wrong with the ferret or a deformity would you revive a full refund and then come back into my care. To leave the review “such a terrible breeder, only in it for the money” is unkind and not true. I am not annoyed or frustrated at you or the situation I just think It would be a good idea to post. I won’t mention names or the ferret as ethically it not being right to do so. My aim of this Post is only to say please be nice, please think before you place a bad review on a page when I can’t remove it and especially when you haven’t told the full story. My ferrets are my pets firstly and when I care for them so much as breed purely out of wanting to see my pets produce their own I really didn’t want last breeding season so be how it was and to ruin the fun and enjoyment out of why I do it.

This breeding season has not been enjoyable. I just hope next year I can just annoy the process, enjoy spending time with my ferrets and their kits and focus more on them than trying to please everybody which this year has shown me isn’t possible.

To all the other homes my kits went to, you are amazing! All of you have given them remarkable homes and I couldn’t be more happier.

Xx

Hi everybody!

I have had a long break from the page, much needed! I haven’t had much of an opportunity to catch up with all of you who had a kit from me this year. Everyone who got a kit from me, from both 2021 litters, please can we share some updates in the comment second with some pictures 🙈

Little update: The whole situation that happened which many of you know about ended up being cleared up with the appropriate people who got in contact with myself and my vets, came to look at my ferretry and went to my vets so see apropriate paperwork regarding this specific kit. They put times together, dates together through the vets aswell as when I called the vets to when I took the kit in to the vets and put all the peices together. This was important as there was speculation of how long I left the kit for and speculations of a few days from certain people etc which obviously was not true. Phone calls to the vets were logged and had to be shown too. Passed with flying colours! 🤷🏼‍♂️ . People may Speculateas they wish too but all has been investigated appropriately and everything dealt with accordingly. As much as I didn’t want to bring it up I thought it was necessary to inform you that everything went fine and they were happy with my ferretry and evidence of the situation which only they have seen which was provided by my vets.

Ragnar from our “The Last Kingdom” 2021 Litter. These pictures were taken by his new owner Susan, which are too Amazing not to steal & share. Ragnar is doing great in his new home with Susan, along with his brother ‘Uhtred’ and all his other new ferret siblings that he lives with. I truly couldn’t of asked for a better home for him and his brother. 🥰
