🐾📜 DOG BREEDING LICENCE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
– WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW? 🇬🇧🐶

Dog breeding in the United Kingdom is regulated by law to help ensure animal welfare and promote responsible breeding practices.

✅ A dog breeding licence is generally required for people who:
• breed 3 or more litters of puppies within a 12-month period and sell at least one puppy,
• operate a dog breeding and selling business, regardless of the number of litters produced.

✅ The licence is issued by the local Council following an inspection of the breeding facilities and animal welfare standards.

During the inspection, the following areas are assessed:

🐾 housing and living conditions,
🐾 hygiene standards,
🐾 veterinary care,
🐾 nutrition and puppy socialisation,
🐾 breeding records and documentation,
🐾 compliance with animal welfare requirements.

⚠️ It is important to understand that breeding 3 or more litters within a 12-month period and selling even one puppy from those litters normally requires a breeding licence.

A person without a breeding licence cannot legally sell puppies from 3 or more litters bred within a 12-month period. If puppies are genuinely not sold and are given away free of charge, this would not normally be considered a licensable breeding activity.

🐾❤️ Today marks our last Sunday together with our Black Yorkshire Terrier puppies. ❤️🐾

We still have one very important step ahead of us. On Tuesday, the puppies will receive their second vaccination. After that, they will begin their post-vaccination quarantine period, which is extremely important for their health and wellbeing.

If everything goes according to plan, the puppies will be ready to leave for their loving new homes from Saturday or Sunday. 🏡🐶

Every day spent with these little ones is special to us, so we cherish every moment, knowing that very soon they will begin a wonderful new chapter with their forever families.

🐾 The post-vaccination quarantine period is very important for such little lives. It allows their immune systems to build protection after vaccination and helps ensure they have the safest possible start as they begin exploring the world. ❤️

Today was a very special day as our beloved puppies began a new chapter in their lives and set off to join their wonderful new families. 🏡🐶

Wilbur and Rummy are lucky enough to grow up together in the same home, where they can continue enjoying each other’s company, sharing playtime, and creating many happy memories side by side. ❤️🐾

Marley has also safely arrived at his new family, where he is beginning his own unique journey filled with love, happiness, and new adventures. 🥰

We wish all of you, our precious puppies, a lifetime of good health, happiness, endless cuddles, and beautiful moments in your new homes. ❤️

🇩🇪❤️🐾 Bella Ann is finally home in Germany! 🐾❤️🇩🇪

After a long four-month wait, Bella Ann has finally arrived safely at her new home and started an exciting new chapter of her life with her loving family.

Travelling abroad with a puppy involves specific veterinary requirements and procedures. The process includes routine vaccinations, a mandatory waiting period, rabies vaccination, and a further 21-day waiting period before the puppy is allowed to cross the border. In addition, an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) is required to authorise international travel.

The entire process takes time, patience, careful planning, and completion of all necessary formalities. Thankfully, everything was organised smoothly, and Bella Ann arrived safely at her destination. ❤️

Special thanks to GlobalPet Transport for their professional transport service, outstanding care throughout the journey, and excellent communication every step of the way. Regular updates, photos, and travel information provided complete peace of mind and reassurance that Bella Ann was in the very best hands. ❤️🐾
