Currently at the pooch wellness salon doing work experience and i had this lovely boy in today Hunter for a good bath and deshed he definitely enjoyed himself 😀 de shedding is very important as it get's rid of all the dead undercoat out which helps them regulate body temperature and allows the coat to breathe.

Got to meet this lovely boy today Buddy who had his second puppy groom during my work experience at the Pooch wellness he was so adorable and loved his cuddles and playtime at the end he was so good, can't wait to meet him again soon.

Puppy grooms are so important to start as soon as they have had their vaccinations as this will get them used to the grooming process and what to expect during their groom which is roughly every 4-5 weeks until they are around 6months when they have their first full groom. 😀

Currently doing some work experience at the Pooch wellness salon to gain some experience and confidence and I had the lovely Ren in today who I'm slowly introducing into the salon and getting him used to the dryer as he's a nervous boy it's very important to take the time and gradually introducing him to the groom. It's his 2nd groom after coming in 4 weeks ago and he looks ready for the summer 😀 a 4 week schedule is very important for dogs/puppies who are nervous being in the salon as it can get them used to us more and the grooming process such as the noises and feeling of the clippers etc.
