Meeting your dog
I will meet your dog in advance and provide a short initial trial to familiarise with each other and have a chat with yourself about any concerns. I want to make sure you are happy of where your dog will be staying. My home
My house has a pleasant garden and whether your dog wants to follow me round the house or play in the garden, it will be free to roam around as it pleases. I
t can sit on the sofa with me for cuddles and will be walked twice daily (unless otherwise advised differently by yourself). There is a large open field on my doorstep which is ideal for your dogs daily exercise. Updates
Leaving your dog behind while you are on holiday can be a worrying time, so if you want pictures, short videos on what’s app or just give me a call ….that is fine! :)
What is included in the dog sitting service?
2 daily walks included – however, a discussion of your dogs needs and usual routine will be done prior to this. I am able to administer medication
I will maintain the dog’s usual diet
I have a base rate but have additional fees for any extra services, such as:
Dog grooming and if you require me to provide your dogs food of your choice. Will your dog be around other pets? I offer a special ONE DOG ONLY care package if this is more suitable for your dog. Some dogs are very clingy and require extra dedication if very nervous or sensitive.… With this there is a £50 supplement for the week. I have a 2 dog maximum rule only…..so if your dog mixes okay with other dogs and is sociable then there will be a possibility that it may be with another dog. What I need from you? During your initial consultation I will need to ask you a lot of questions. It’s important that I gain a good understanding of your dog, their behaviours, likes, dislikes and medical conditions including allergies. Any special food or medical requirements. Write a list of items you will need, such as food, toys, bowls and blankets. This will give you time to get everything ready for your dog’s stay. What happens in the event of an emergency? Unexpected circumstances can occur such as your pet becoming sick whilst you’re away. In this event I would call the vets straight away. Then contact yourself after getting advice, to discuss the plan of action of any treatment that may potentially be required.
