Just a quick reminder! Our hay is suitable for horses with laminitis or EMS.

All of our hay has a combined sugar and starch value of less then 9.3% and so are safe choices for you equines.

The average is ESC is 7.8% and

The lowest is 5.5%.

(The combined ESC and starch figure is the important value to consider when choosing forage for Laminitics or Cushings sufferers etc.)

Results are back from the labs at Forage Plus!

All results show our hay has a combined ESC of less than 9.3%, the average is 7.8% and the lowest is 5.5%. This varies depending on the field the hay was taken from.

Exciting News!!

We have spaces available for GELDINGS ONLY on our barefoot track system.

If you're looking for somewhere that your horse can enjoy living out 24/7 with friends, have access to plenty of fibre based forage and freedom of choice to move, rest, eat and play as they choose, then please get in touch.

Package details are as follows:

- Ad-lib meadow hay supplied and added to hay stations daily (Tested at less than 10% combined sugar & starch)

- Bedding supplied and maintained in communal areas

- Salt & mineral licks

- Selection of free-choice water buffet

Owners are responsible for:

- Daily poo picking of bed, yard & track

- Preparing 3 hay nets per day

- ALL daily care of the horse

Additional Information and Facilities:

- 24/7 Single s*x herd turnout (geldings)

- 20 x 40 outdoor school with an “all-in-one” Flexiride®/ silica sand.

- Grass Free Woodchip Paddock

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

We are very excited to be able to announce that here at Holme Farm we have set up a new barefoot track system and currently have 8 ponies/horses thriving in their new environment.

This exciting addition to the business is enabling these horses to live out 24/7, 365 days of the year, and enables us to create an environment that mimics more natural behaviours within a domesticated environment. It is allowing the horses to have movement on a 24/7 basis, more freedom of choice, high fibre forage diets, and friendship every single day of the year!!

We have DIY spaces for geldings available now, but please note spaces will not be given on a first come first serve basis and will be based on the right Horse and Owner for the new set up. We are looking for like-minded people who are either on the journey or about to begin the journey of keeping their horse more naturally and barefoot.

These beautiful girls need a place to call home before Saturday the 27th of August. If you live in or near Surrey or Hampshire, please check our adoption application. 🐔
