Took lily for a full groom at your Rotherham parkgate store and I have to say was really impressed 😀 the groomer was lovely and polite, she made lily feel welcome and calm, the groomer asked what we wanted doing and she did everything we asked of her, well worth the money and we will be using you in the future, lily is happy as it means more trips for treats lol

The Groom Room at Parkgate had a visit from a wonderful dog today, Azerley the support dog visited us for a freshen up before his appearance at Crufts over the weekend. The Groom room are fund raising for the charity 'Hounds for Heroes' we are hoping to raise 20k to buy a Hero a specially trained dog. 🐕🐶 Hounds for Heroes provide specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the UK Armed Forces and Emergency Services. These dogs do an amazing job for amazing people. Please donate via the just giving page or by popping into your nearest groom room. Every penny counts 💰💲

These remarkable dogs are trained specially for their new owner and can help with many tasks such as opening doors, crossing the road, shopping and getting money from ATMs

We have had an overwhelming response to our appeal to find new homes and to try and find their rightful owners.

Sadly, we have not been able to find any of the original owners of the dogs. This is mainly because most of them were not chipped. A number of people have come forward, believing some of the dogs were theirs, but after checks were carried out, sadly for them, the dogs have turned out not to be theirs.

However, the good news is that we have found new homes for all 19 dogs. Although, they will not be handed over to their new owners for a week, just in case any further potential owners come forward.

People have been brilliant and incredibly generous. Many people who were not in a position to adopt a dog, have called at the kennels and donated food for them.

I would like to thank everyone for their kindness, I honestly did not expect such a huge response to our appeal, but thank you so much.
