None of my buns will ever leave before 8 weeks , this is because they are still very vulnerable until this time and anything can happen until then .

Rabbits need the antibodies from their mother's milk to develop a strong immune system, which is not fully developed until around 8 weeks

Kits begin nibbling on solid food around 2-3 weeks, but they are not fully weaned until 8 weeks.

Staying with their mother and littermates until 8 weeks helps with socialization and reduces stress when they are rehomed.

Separating kits too early can cause stress and increase the risk of illness later in life

And if you do come across people selling bunnies at a younger age , now it’s summer a few people are trying to make a quick pence exploiting little animals , please take a second to reconsider and think about the poor little bunnies 🐰 thankyou
