Today, we worked with Kobi and his leash pulling. This 1-1 training was given to him free of charge as part of his daycare package.
Every single Blake’s Doggy Daycare attendee receives some 1-1 training as part of the service. If you need something worked on, just let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

For the upcoming August Bank Holiday Weekend, we have something very special planned at Blake’s Doggy Daycare.

On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August, at 11:00-15:00, we shall be open for various activities, swimming and general water fun, agility course challenges, socialising and more! Enjoyment for the whole family 🐾

The price is £3 per person and we will accept payment on the door.
Daycare/puppy class pawrents, dogs and children aged 4 and under are free.

Drinks and snacks are available to purchase, as well as some exciting brand new stock! You won’t want to miss this.

There is a limit of 5 dogs per hour to avoid over-crowding, but walk in is available as long as there is room! If you want to check, you can always phone ahead on 07999 900 204.

WE ARE OPEN AS USUAL!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our valued Blake’s Doggy Daycare clients, for being patient with us whilst we had a couple of closed days this month for our wedding celebrations.

We are back open as usual with no closed days for the foreseeable future!

What activities can dogs do during the heatwave at Blake’s Doggy Daycare?

We are due some more scorching heat, which leaves a lot of our lovely dogs bored and looking for things to do whilst they have to stay inside.

At Blake’s Doggy Daycare, we have plenty of puzzles and activities to keep our pups mind’s occupied and busy whilst they are indoors enjoying our air conditioning.

We have more than enough dog enrichment activities to keep our dog’s minds stimulated, that they’ll barely remember they are missing out on a walk.

Hey all, it’s Brooke here! Resident Blake’s Doggy Daycare pup 🐶

So, as some of our regular clients already know, my mums are getting married soon!

This apparently comes with some celebrations, which means my mums won’t be able to be at the daycare for a couple of days!

We are closed on the following days:
- Friday 17th July 2026
- ⁠Monday 20th July 2026
- ⁠Friday 24th July 2026
- ⁠Monday 27th July 2026

They said they apologise for any inconvenience, but I’m mad that they are delaying me from playing with my friends!! Oh well, a good reason…I guess.

Another heatwave coming up? Have no fear, Blake’s Doggy Daycare is here!

We are fully stocked up and ready for another heatwave. We have various levels of water play so that every dog can get involved with what they feel comfortable with. Whether it’s our Splashpad, our Ball Pit filled with water or our giant Swimming Pool, we have everything your dog needs to stay cool and entertained during the hot season.

PUPPY SOCIALISATION AND TRAINING CLASSES AT BLAKES DOGGY DAYCARE

Our Puppy Beginner Training Classes and Socialisation are still such a huge hit, and we couldn’t be more appreciative.

Check out some recent footage and highlights taken from some of our sessions.

We have had the absolute privilege of seeing nervous and unsure puppies come out of their shells in our safe and secure environment, and we have nothing but positive feedback about how helpful these sessions have been for our clients puppies.

Early socialisation is so important for puppies to understand other dog’s body language and practice this in a supervised environment. Each session also includes plenty of fun activities and early training guidance.

What is Blake’s Doggy Daycare doing during the heatwave?

- Blake’s Doggy Daycare is lucky enough to have its own pool! Appropriate for dogs of a variety of sizes, we have an outdoor pool, that is cleaned with a filter and pump, that is available for the dogs with strict supervision. 1-1 is available to encourage new swimmers and associate swimming with positivity and fun.
- We also have a splash pad! This is a fun little toy that attaches directly to the hose and squirts out water for the dogs to run in and out of. Dogs can use and approach this splash pad as and when they feel ready, with no pressure to participate.
- Throughout the day, dogs will be doused with cold, wet towels to keep them cool and help them out with keeping their body temperatures regulated.
- Multiple water bowls will be kept full and dotted around our premises, both inside and outside areas.
- At Blake’s Doggy Daycare, we are lucky enough to have a built in air conditioning system. This keeps the inside exceptionally cool and is a nice relief after having a bit of play outside.
