Minor Puppy 7(0,A)
1. Webb & Smiths Waterbabies Walk Tall at Hecston (IMP ITA) This 7 month old dog puppy caught my eye for his well balanced frame. I loved his gentle appealing’Look at me’ dark eyes and expression. His front is straight with good bone and nice tidy feet. He has good width of chest and well sprung ribs. He has a lovely reach of neck onto a good layback of shoulders which flow onto his level topline and tailset. As yet he is still a little loose on the move although he demonstrates a lovely easy stride holding his topline with his tail flowing straight off his back.
BP & PG4
2. Poile & Blackboro’s Cherrimar Electra This 8 month mid gold bitch puppy has everything in proportion and a neat compact frame. She has a gentle pretty head of correct proportions with dark eyes and pigmentation. Her front is straight with good width to chest. She has a lovely layback of shoulder with good length of upper arm. Her ribs are well sprung and she is short in her couplings. Her fore and aft angulations are symmetrical and hocks are well let down and straight. She moved holding her frame with plenty of reach and drive.
Puppy 6 (3,A)
1. Waterbabies Walk Tall at Hecston ( IMP ITA) 1 in Puppy
2. Davis Lynste Dream Boy (AI) A beautiful pale gold puppy of 9 months presented in gleaming coat and condition. He has a lovely masculine head with a gentle expression and correct chiselling. His front is straight and of good width. His forelegs are placed well under his chest with his elbows tucked neatly in. He has a good layback of shoulders and length of upper arm. His fore and aft angulations display a lovely balance so easy on the eye. He has good width of thigh and straight hocks. He moved well with good reach and drive.
Junior 3 (2 A)
1. Tweddles Brunwicks Solar Eclipse 14 months dog presented in good coat and condition. He has such a handsome gentle head of correct proportions with perfect scissor bite and good pigmentations. His front is straight with good bone and tight neat feet. His elbows tuck neatly into his deep chest and his ribs are well sprung. I found him to be a little long in loin. When settled he moved well holding his topline although he was a little close behind.
Novice 8 (5A)
1. Webb & Smiths Water Babies Walk Tall at Hecston (IMP ITA) 1 in MP & P
2. Davi’s Lynste Dream Boy (AI) 2 in P
Graduate 7 (3A)
1. Taggarts Altindan User Friendly JW SGWC This beautiful young bitch presents such a lovely package with her clean balanced outline from the tip of her nose to the end of her tail. She has a lovely feminine head and soft expression. Her front is straight with good bone and she has the neatest of feet. Super reach of neck onto well laid back shoulders. Her fore and aft angulations are symmetrical and she moves straight and true with her tail flowing from her level topline. A happy girl at one with her handler.
2. Wedges Putjade Pit Stop at Riverscham NAF This darker coated dog certainly has the wow factor. He caught my eye for his super clean balanced outline and was presented in fabulous gleaming coat. Hands on he was in hard muscular condition and every component transitioned smoothly into the next. He has a stunning masculine head with deep, dark eyes and pitch black pigmentation. His front is straight with super bone and substance. His chest is deep with good spring of rib. He has a lovely reach of neck onto well laidback shoulders flowing onto his dead level topline. His fore and aft angulations are in symmetry creating such pleasing balance. He has a good turn of stifle and straight hocks. He powered around the ring with super reach and drive just a shame his tail was held so high.
Post Graduate 4 (1A)
1. Poile’s Thornywait Starshine at Cherrimar This 3 year old mid gold bitch was well presented in good coat and hard muscular condition. She has a sweet feminine head of correct proportions. Her front is straight with good bone and tidy cat like feet. She has a good reach of neck onto a level topline and tailset and her ribs are deep and well sprung. I would have preferred more length of upper arm to complete the picture. She moved with lovely reach and drive with correct straight rear action.
2. Pounds Longhursts Mossburn Golly Miss Molly JW A dark gold mature 4 year old bitch who was in full bloom with her gleaming wavy coat in great condition with full featherings. She has a beautiful head and kindly expression with dark eyes and good pigmentation. Her front is straight and she is well off for bone. She has a lovely reach of neck onto well laidback shoulders with equal length of blade to upper arm. Her ribs are well sprung and she is short coupled. I would have preferred a little less length of second thigh. Rear movement not as straight as 1.
Open Dog 8 (4,A)
1. Barber’s Messano Just Good Friends with Swansreach 5 year old presented in full coat and in tip top condition. He could do with more trimming of his forechest to complete the picture. I loved his handsome head with dark eyes and lovely pigmentation with that cheeky ‘Look at me’ melting expression. His front is straight and he has plenty of bone and substance. His elbows tuck neatly into his deep chest with ribs well sprung and short in couplings. I would have preferred more length of upper arm and front angulation. He moved with plenty of drive and was at one with his handler. RBOB
2. Roper’s Catnnels Inside Story for Brensham SGWC VW This mature 10 yr old dog is a super example of a dog in hard muscular condition he belies his age and until I asked his handler I thought he was only about 5! He has a gorgeous masculine head with correct chiselling and dark eyes. Good bone and substance and is well balanced throughout with symmetrical fore and aft angulations with a level topline and tail set. He has strong muscular thighs, well turned stifles and straight hocks. Just lost out to 1 by a whisker on movement. I loved the rapport he has with his handler.
Open Bitch 6 (3,A)
1. Seamons Messano Kiss Me Now This 6 year old mature bitch oozes quality and condition and was presented today with her coat in full bloom. She has such a neat well balanced frame with flowing lines and everything in correct proportion. Closer inspection proved everything was in the right place. She has a sweet feminine head and expression with dark eyes and pigmentation. Her lovely reach of neck flows onto her dead level topline and tail set. Her angulations are symmetrical and she flowed around the ring holding her frame with bags of reach and drive. BOB
2. Fleets Waterbabies Kalakuta to Eastbury (IMP ITA) This pale cream 3 year old bitch pushed hard for 1st place. She is finer b***d than 1 but she too oozes quality with her lovely balanced construction. She was presented today in full bloom with gleaming coat. She has such a feminine head and gentle expression and dark eyes. Her lovely reach of neck flows onto well laid back shoulders with a dead level topline and tailset. She has a straight front and neat feet. Her chest is deep and her fore and rear angulations give symmetrical balance. She has well turned stifles and straight hocks and moved with correct footfall holding her lovely frame.
