A very hot half term! ☀️

We kept cool by riding early and choosing shady activities. The children really enjoyed learning how to look after their ponies in the heat 🐎🌿

Dates out soon for the summer holidays, we’re looking forward to seeing you there! 👀

Chris attends our horse therapy groups each Thursday and Friday, and he’s had his work cut out today keeping Misty cool and comfortable in the hot weather 🐴☀️

He gave her a lovely tail wash, a cooling drizzle of water with sponges and the hosepipe, and then some yummy minty treats! She’s one very happy horse now!!

Horses give you the feel good factor like nothing else, but our advice is to steer clear of Chris and the hosepipe if you’d like to stay dry 😆🌊

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY TO ROBYN WHO HAD A PONY PARTY WITH US YESTERDAY! 🥳🎊

Of course she had to choose the biggest pony in the party, Buddy was chuffed to ride with the birthday girl! 🎉

Looking for the perfect party for your pony mad child?

Our parties consist of one hour with the ponies for 5 riders, they can have a lesson, hack out around the lanes, brush the ponies or half and half! We can even cater for children who have never ridden a pony before 🐴🎊

This is followed by one hour at Alton Piece, if you would like to bring a picnic, birthday cake or organise party games etc. 🧺🎂🎈

The total cost for an Alton Piece Pony Party is £165.

We have selected dates available for birthday parties, and slots are booking up quickly 🦄

Thank you to all the lovely children who gave the ponies an extra ‘good luck’ scratch this weekend… they were very brave and well behaved for their annual dentist appointment today.

The whole crew were given a clean bill of health by dentist Gary, including the two 4 year olds Nutmeg and Kitty. They can now head into half term with prefect smiles! 😁

Being seen regularly by the dentist is important for all horses and ponies to identify dental issues early, avoid pain and discomfort, and keep them chewing and digesting food properly!

Well done ponies!!! 🦷🪥🌟

Kitty is a beautiful black mare, who had a successful in-hand showing career as a youngster before being broken to ride! She is settling in and enjoying meeting lots of new people. We’re sure she’ll fit right in!

Come and join us for an action packed day, grooming, riding, caring for the ponies, playing games and having fun! PAINT A HORSESHOE TO TAKE HOME! See our previous posts to see what fun we get up to! Please bring a packed lunch. 10am - 4pm. £70. 🧲🎨🖌️
