Please come along tomorrow to support the amazing local mental health charity - Trust Links Charity , at their May Fayre There will be food, drink, maypole dancing, stalls and live music.

This is to raise much needed money to keep this amazing charity going to do their invaluable work with the local community.

As a member and helper there myself I can only state how invaluable they have been for me and many others I have also met through the service.

Hello, I’m Claire, I’m an avid sewer and crafter and a proud member of the ‘Red Hot Stitchers’ sewing group and thought I could use my love for sewing to raise money and help others. On Saturday 26th of November from 10am till 10pm I am doing a 12 hour sewing marathon creating Boomerang Bags. Eek!!

Boomerang Bags are reusable bags made from fabric that would usually end up in landfill (e.g. bedding sets, curtains, shirts etc). If you wish to find out more about Boomerang Bags please visit boomerangbags.org

Once I have completed my 12hours, all the bags that I have made will then be donated along with all money raised to The Kindness Union.

The Kindness Union is a local group that support lots of different people….SVP Short Street, One Love. Local food banks, local soup kitchens, Charlie Boys Angels, the Aspirations Project just to name a few!!
