We had a great day at Fort Amherst Chatham .
They were hosting a Family Fantasy Festival with many characters,stalls and tunnel walks.
Totally dog friendly and a great cafe, entry is free Monday to Sunday if no event is being held.

Just a selection of the amazing dogs who have had a great time this weekend in our enclosed space.
Bookings are for exclusive private 55 minute hire for up to 4 dogs.
With offroad parking for up to 2 cars,and amazing views it really is a fabulous way to exercise your dogs both mentally and physically in a rural setting.

What a glorious day today has been with the sun shining brightly.
The dogs and pups have been having a great time posing on our new equipment in the field.

We visited the new climbing centre at dockside Chatham at the weekend.
Open to all ages,Eddie our pug and I watched a family member whilst enjoying the onsite cafe and amazing views of the old dockyard basins filled with boats.
Its an amazing facility run byclimbers who made us feel very welcome.
Open 7 days a week it was a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

The field was frosty and chilly but so beautiful.

Looking really beautiful at our enclosed space this morning.
Available to hire for private use to exercise your dog or pup both mentally and physically it has amazing views in a rural setting.
Perfect for reactive dogs,or xl bully types subject to government guidelines or if you just want a quiet space to spend quality time with your dog.
Private hire is for 55 minutes and we are open dawn till dusk every day.

We took the bugs to pick pumpkins at our local farm and they got to meet some farm animals.
With a little on site farm shop we had a really lovely afternoon out.

Happy National Black Dog Day.
Our amazing lad has been with our Puppydogtails family for a year now.
We were asked to foster him by a reputable pug dog rescue charity initially as he had some severe issues with reactivity and seperation anxiety.
We adopted him as he was such a beauty but knew that his issues would make it very hard for him to find a forever home.
We initiated a tailored training plan and he passed an assessment to become a Pets as Therapy dog earlier this year .
He now works alongside us providing emotional support to others.

We had a fabulous visitor to our 4 acre rural field which is available for private hire.
This beautiful girl is 18 years old ,has some sight issues and is a little unsteady on her feet.
Her pawrent wanted a safe space for her where she could potter about,sniff,and relax.
These pictures say it all,she looks so happy and content .
We are looking forward to her next visit and are so pleased we are able to share our space with other dogs ,pups and their humans who are looking for an enclosed space with off-road parking for private hire.

We took our Sunday morning large dog socialisation group out from our training centre to local fields to test their recall in a vast open space.
They were amazing and had the best time.
This is something we will be doing regularly .Qualified trainers are always in attendance to ensure that each dog has the best possible experience.
If you have a large dog who would benefit from socialisation in a relaxed setting feel free to contact us to discuss and arrange a meet and greet.

Our Story

One to one dog training available all across Medway. Times to suit you. Starting from 1 hour lessons with follow up consultations or training plans as required.. 30+ years experience of owning and training many breeds of dog including Great Danes, Basset Hounds, Pugs, Bulldogs, Dogue de Bordeaux and more. Currently involved in breed specific rescue work as well as 15+ years of experience in various veterinary surgeries/clinics across the Medway Towns Towns and the South East of England.

June 2017 - May 2018 - Studied with IMDT - Institute of Modern Dog Trainers receiving certificates in:

• “Career as a Dog Trainer” (2 day residential course) • “Practical Instructor” (4 day residential course) • “Impulse Control, Canine Aggression and Rehabilitation, Perfect Puppy Foundation” (3 day residential course) • “Canine Body Language” (1 day non-residential course)

May 2018 - Accepted into the “Pet Professional Network”
