Well we made it through to Saturday!! The hype of the racing got to dogs and handlers a tiny bit! But we made it through!! See you on Saturday! Oh and bagged ourselves second place with an amazing race against Road Runners!!

A really lovely message from a client ❤️

Hi Vicki. Just a catch up on Odin. He's a completely different dog. He can walk past almost all dogs, even on the cycle track. Flare ups are rare...just certain reactive dogs. Even then he calms down really quickly & resumes Watch me immediately. He anticipates the' look' for a Watch me almost every time. I still sit him in some situations when need be. He's calm, gives cuddles as we walk, wags his tail if I say Watch. We're working on cats. He can work with the routine for a non-moving cats...looking & then watching me. If it moves he can react but more & more deals with it & will watch me. Not perfect yet but gets better the more we do. He's wary of the nemesis Colly round the corner. But he's been ignoring her when they meet & watches me instead most times.
Gill walked him on the track the other day(instead of road walking him) & couldn't believe the difference in Odin. He was perfect with all other dogs.
The praise he's getting is spurring him on to even better behaviour. Even when he makes occasional mistakes we just move on & focus on positives & he thrives on it.
I've cancelled the training lessons at ******. He went a full month without reacting outside of classes but reacted badly during the next lesson I could attend. It was clearly too much for him & we don't need that set back.
Anyway, he's really turned the corner & loving every minute of our time together. I'm now his main focal point & he's looking to please me more often than not.

This is the lovely Lucy ❤️
Lucy is an ex breeding bitch from a puppy farm and knows absolutely zero about a life living in a home with humans or how to be loved. She has only been in her home for a few months and has actually made huge progress.
We are currently working on eye contact, taking food from hands, counter conditioning hands moving toward her and also teaching her that she has plenty of choices and a voice that will be listened to! In just a few short weeks Lucy has made leaps and bounds with her confidence, now ASKING for contact, which was completely unheard of, she is starting to show little glimpses of her cheeky side but we still have a long way to go.her owners are perfect for her, patient and kind and really beginning to understand what she's feeling.
One day this girl will be a happy confident little dog ❤️
